"Alan at the front counter was so nice and friendly as well as all other staff even the bell man and the staff helping us open the connecting door. The hotel i heard is dated but amazingly feels new and clean. Super spacious, infinity pool was huge and no one was swimming there the 4 times we swam! Free breakfast and siu yeh was excellent. The fact that they have a Ipoh coffee machine is just making me want to take another 15 hour flight and 2 hour car ride just to go to the hotel and stay...

"Was surprised that I need to pay for additional pillow request. Carpark below the hotel very limited and have to park far away. Needed to top up RM 25 each night to change to o room with window as expedia booking was a windowless room."

"Shop nearby, good location"

"Good location near oldtown"

"Room is spacious, public area is very clean. Just steps away from bean-spouts chicken and lots of bakery/gifts shops!"

"Room was clean but lacked plugins for the phone. Only one that was on the other end of the room. No kettle or Fridge. You can get a Thermos of hot water feom the front desk. The owner, his wife and his staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice restaurant at the end of the block. You need walk a few blocks to get to the 7/11. Daily night market was about 10 min walk. I liked the location as it was close to the Trai and bus terminal "

"At least it's clean, in terms of cleaning. But not in terms of long-term tear-and-wear and stuff that would benefit from renewal. I find it so weird that a hotel must have TV but not shower gel : ]] If you don't have toothpaste and shower gel, at least write it in the hotel details. But "of course" then it only makes sense that you'll sell them on the side. Note that the area is nice because it is almost rural but still only 15 minutes on foot from the tourist centre - but yes, it is in a too...

"Stayed in two different rooms, both can not be consider as clean. Water stains everywhere in the bathroom. door knobs, light switches are sticky. Not a very good experience overall."
