Villa Anakao is not situated in a tourist spot. There is a nearby fish stall on a nearby beach which is worth a visit. This hotel is certainly not posh. It is real Mauritius, but is nevertheless a great place to relax after a day of exploring the island, and a fraction of the cost of the much smarter big brand hotels. I stay there when working in Mauritius and find it to be a welcome place to retreat to. "

Would recommend a stay at Le Telfair to friends and family and encourage them to make good use of the golf while they are here."
