"It IS downtown so you do hear ppl partying non stop but it becomes background noise and can be easily ignored. The wifi connection was a little rocky which made schoolwork difficult at times but they did try to fix it. Also, I did the paid monthly parking next door in the public lot. My car got broken into twice in that lot despite the cameras and security. So park in the gated area maybe. But the laundry room was convenient and card paid. "This is a great apartment. Very comfortable, very well appointed. It has everything you could need. The building is old but very clean, tidy and secure. The location is great for San Jose being located next to the heart of the city at San Pedro Square. Loads of bars and restaurants right next door.
