"We’ve just spent a lovely week at this house. Had everything we needed for our family of 2 adults and 2 children age 9 and 10. The location is perfect. House and garden are very private not overlooked with beautiful views. Nearest 2 villages with bakeries, shops and restaurants are 5 and 8 minute drives away. La roque-gageac is just 15 minutes drive away where we spent a great day hiring kayaks on the river. There’s lots to do in the area."

"The house is well proportioned, bright, airy and light. The pool is amazing, super clean and a very good size. The pool is set in an amazing garden. So the view from the balcony above is amazing, with the further view over the hills and forests below the property. Throughly enjoyed our stay and both at the house and Sarlat and the surrounding area."

"A lovely property in our favourite part of France. Everything was just as listed on the website. Lots of homely touches added, fresh flowers, wine and biscuits. Close by to Beynac, La Rocque, Sarlat & Domme. We loved it. Only downside is the amount of electricity that the sauna uses. We used it once and it just tipped us over our electricity allowance!!"

"A clean and tidy house which was well appointed and comfortable; mind you it was such dry and hot weather we spent most of the time outdoors. The road to the house is VERY narrow.... driving a 1966 MGB this wasn't too difficult but I wouldn't like to do it in a Range Rover!! Guillaume was very helpful both in the run up to our arriving and if we had any queries when we were there. Belves is a lovely town with good shops and plenty to see and can all be done on foot. "The house is a beautiful traditional building. It is light and airy with huge windows. We really liked the big walk-in showers in all the en suite bathrooms. The bedrooms are all quite separate (with the exception of two rooms) which gave everyone their own space. "The house is very well positioned for local amenities. The local village is beautiful with a great shop and a couple of lovely restaurants. The only negative were the mosquitoes so remember some insect repellent!"

"Lovely house, extremely well equipped and clean. Fantastic pool and hot tub. Andy and Uliana were very helpful but not intrusive. We ate at two restaurants in Meyrals which were very good, also Sunday lunch at Aberge Medieval in Audrix, about a 15 minute drive away, was outstanding. Highlight of the week for food was Dimitri cooking for us, it was delicious, plentiful and no more expensive than eating out. We can highly recommend Les Hirondelles!"

"We had a wonderful autumn holiday in this villa. Mahil received us very kindly and the house was fully equipped. (Towels, bed linen,, hairdryer, dishwasher tablets etc). The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds comfortable and a good shower in the bathroom. There was plenty of things to keep you entertain in the garden too. We have raised a claim (beware that this is booked through a separate agency Herez who once you have paid take very little interest or care. We took pictures and sent to Vrbo and Agency Herez of brown stained pillows, old bed blankets, broken and filthy shower and the whole place is old and tired. Nothing like the pictures on the website. "We booked this property as a girl holiday getaway for my 40th birthday celebrations. Overall we had a nice stay and found the location great to be able to visit some really stunning towns and villages nearby including Dome, Rocamadour and also had the opportunity to do cannoing in the Dordogne river as it’s such a great spot for it. In terms of the house itself, it had the main things we wanted but I wish the outside area by the pool would have had more greenery or at least a bit of grass....

"We stayed in early September when the kids had gone back to school. Fantastic weather and the property was a good size with everything we needed. Local attractions were equally fantastic. I especially liked that there were so many wild fig and plum trees around. The host was very accommodating. The pool was cleaned each morning giving us space to enjoy it all afternoon when the sun was at it's best. We'll be staying again one day."

"This was an excellent property that caters for all age groups. The property was large enough to cope with 8 adults and a baby. It was a 10 minute walk out of Sarlat so easy for early morning croissants or walking back from an evening meal. We had on incident which was quickly dealt with by the owner.
