Different to the usual.
Really old fashioned (in a good way) hotel. Very attentive staff and really nice breakfast. It’s certainly more a B&B than hotel and tries very hard. Lounge and bar very dark but fine.

After a long evening on the road I arrived to the Drayton Court Hotel fairly late. Not only did I receive a most warm welcome but also a pot of tea and a cake (free). This is a level of service is sometimes absent from the larger chain hotels. My room was huge and spotlessly clean, bathroom facilities were also excellent. There is also plenty of secure parking out back. There is also a really cosy bar area which reminded me of something out of a sherlock holmes book (warm fire, comfortable arm chairs). The breakfast was very tasty and more than enough to set you up for the day, it was also served quickly (which is useful if you have onward travel or need to be somewhere). Checkout was quick and hassle free. I would not hesitate to stay again, it was excellent in all respects.

Nice and comfortable stay, dinner can sometimes take some time but i am happy waiting. They bring you up a tea/ coffee with a slice of cake when you arrive - lovely touch

I can’t recommend this hotel. Wasn’t given the room that I booked and got a bit of an unexpected response and blasé rant when I raised the issue. Made me feel unwelcome and pretty much put me off for the rest of the stay. Was going to be charged the same regardless. Owner did offer to comp the room in the morning but this is after a rather awkward evening and probably some reflection on their part, I’d feel fraudulent not raising awareness to others. Cleanliness was not the best in the room I had... dusty and cobweb ceiling.

Homely and fantastic
This is a great place to stay after years of staying in generic chain hotels. The people are very friendly and helpful, my room comfortable and the food in the restaurant Home- cooked and delicious. Will definitely stay here next time i’m in the area.

Stayed two nights.....we did not spend much time at the hotel, but when we were there the staff / owners were very nice and the English breakfast was really well cooked and we were ask if we needed more but it was more than sufficient for our needs..we would stay there again should the need arise in the future..sooty we did not take photos

Comfortable and friendly Hotel
A charming Hotel with friendly staff. Top class breakfast is well worth the extra cost. Our family room (12b) was tastefully decorated and spacious. The enormous bath towels and powerful hairdryer were greatly appreciated. Highly recommended!

Good place to stay
We enjoyed our stay here, rooms were small but as we stayed only one night it was fine! Had two small children with us the helped us the best they can with high hairs at breakfast and a place to store the prams. Close to drayton manor only 5 mins in taxi or 15 min walk. Would stay again!

Perfectly comfortable hotel for a one night business stopover. Although WiFi would not connect in the room all other facilities were totally adequate

It was all mostly OK; room was absolutely tiny, but clean and bed was adequate. Shower room was, again, very small, but adequate. Waited ten minutes in the bar to get a drink, but nobody about - gave up in the end. Breakfast starts quite late (07:00) and hot food is cooked to order, so no time to try it.
