"I stayed at CBA Hotel in the past (2009), and it was very nice. However, upon my arrival to Tanga in October 2025, I was informed that the hotel is no longer in operation. I had paid for the hotel room in advance via hotels.com, but could not stay there upon arrival since the hotel is no longer in operation/business. Unfortunately, I have been unable to receive reimbursement from the hotel or hotels.com for the booking paid in advance. Therefore, I caution people against booking at this hotel...
