Heading back early one morning from our holiday in Morzine, we watched the sunrise as we travelled. Arriving at this spot I couldn't resist stopping for a photo, the industrial landscape in the background with the mist in front and the road and trees in the foreground just worked!

"Cheap and very basic. Handy to find somewhere for £60 a night that has a fridge, mini kitchen. Underground parking cost extra. Breakfast was basic, not much choice. Worst thing was that it’s right on top of railway lines and from about 5am onwards you hear a loud alarm going off (to warn of an oncoming train) followed by the thunderous noise of the train going past "

"This is really one of the worst places i have ever been. Poorly managed, unfriendly and unhelpful staff, terrible communication. I find it shocking that a property like this can exist and be offered on Expedia. Strongly recommend delisting from the platform and for people looking at it to avoid at any cost. "

"It was off-season so hardly anyone was there. My room was terrific with a mini-sauna on the deck. Staff was very friendly. Easy walk into town with the plenty of dining options (during the season that is). A very nice place and a great stay. "

"Be careful booking this location the room and resort were great but our building was under separate ownership which meant it was fully self catered the there were no towels no sheets for the beds only the duvet and pillows which were stained and not pleasant to sleep on. We found a cockroach in one of the kitchen appliances and there was no way of getting service from reception as they had nothing to do with the building/room. Be careful staying here "

"This property looked nothing like the pictures, there were no towels the sheets were dirty, it was very complicated to get in to room"

"The location was wonderful … close to “town,” wonderful bakery (Le Grenier Al’Pain), right next to Lac de Vonnes, beautiful views from the balcony. The pool was a nice treat, with the wonderful additions of a dry sauna and a steam room. Communication with the owner, Daniel, was excellent … he was available to help me check-in and to answer any questions. We enjoyed our stay very much. "One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The breakfast is great and has everything you need. There’s a coffee machine in reception that you can use 24/7. There’s also filtered water in reception so you don’t have to buy bottled water constantly. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotless. The spa is also great - especially after days of running. The location is perfect. Right in the centre but there’s no noise. We will be coming back to Chamonix next year and will be booking this hotel again. "
