Novotel Annemasse Centre - Porte de Genève

"Very enjoyable stay. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly throughout. A special thank you to the lady receptionist who checked us in. She was welcoming, helpful, and made us feel at ease straight away. Her kindness really made a difference. Would happily stay here again."

"This is the 4th time we have stayed at this hotel - it gets better every time. The staff are great. The location is perfection. The amenities are brilliant. It was my daughter’s birthday when we arrived Daniella and her team pulled together balloons and decorations as well as a cake to celebrate. We also had a session at BAM, the inhouse karaoke booths. Brilliant and hilarious in equal measure. We just love it. One recommendation, for those of you driving, the hotel car park is tight and expensive. Try the car park just before the round about as you enter Chamonix. Cheaper if you buy a monthly pass (54 euros) than the 28 euros a night at the hotel. If I had one comment, the restaurant closes at 2pm which was problematic because we wanted to eat a slightly later lunch and the food there is amazing. So just one area of improvement but honestly tiny! Other than that, stay here it’s wonderful ❤️"

"The Hotel L'Arve was in a quieter part of Chamonix which was nice, since the town gets pretty busy. We had a view of Mont Blanc from our patio which was nice. The room was a little awkward in the way that it faces out to the river and a pedestrian pathway just beyond that so it lacked privacy. Also, because there is no air conditioning, the windows stay open at night and we were affected by "people noise" one evening, and "nightclub music noise" another evening. One other noise problem we could hear in our room dealt and brought to their attention was a loudly swinging door in the kitchen which was constant from about 6:00 AM until breakfast service was over. Hopefully they rectified this one. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The lawn area was the total winner for coffee in the morning and reading in the afternoon. Beautiful!"
