Breakast is served on a balcony overlooking a garden and Mountain View. Spectacular. Combination of amazing Italian buffet items and Ala carte menu items. Fantastic array of juices and fruit. Really great. Location is specular, practically built into the Antico Teatro and shopping district. Rooms and balconies vary even within room types since it is a restored hotel. Some are great and some are just decent.

If there was a rating higher than excellent my wife and I would select it for all categories!! The property location was second to none, and the envy of the thousands of tourists passing by the luxurious front gate and vine covered portico. The staff anticipated every need and request and attended immediately to any comment or request. Food was exceptional thanks no doubt to the Michelin rated chef. Appointments in the rooms were second to none. The staff, from the valet to the front desk, to the waiters, to housekeeping, and the managers all made us feel welcome and like family. They greet you with your name and recall any inquiries about seeing a sight, or stores you might visit. The history and pedigree of the Grand Timeo added to the ambience and special atmosphere of this unique treasure. Put it on your bucket list!!! Will be viewing all Belmond properties before booking any other hotel. Words cannot express our pleasure and satisfaction.

Unbelievable property, service and rooms. We spent 3 nights at Hotel Timeo and despite being in beautiful Taormina we didnt want to leave the property! Huge perk is the access (beach or otherwise) to their sister property on the water - Belmond Saint Andrea - they treat you as if your one of theirs. Hands down the best Hotel in Taormina ( even better then FS )

This was my first time staying at the Grand Timeo even though I’ve had dinner and drinks there before. The experience exceeded my expectations. The property is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve seen with idyllic terraced gardens that are practically a botanical garden. The restaurants and Timeo bar all have views of the garden, the sea, and the town - which make you want to stay there for hours on end. We had several meals at the Timeo restaurant as well as the Timeo Grill located in the garden - all great meals. We loved the amenities in the room and bathroom, including the welcome platter of fruits and chocolates and the additional goodies left during turndown service. The staff were all very helpful and friendly - and did everything to make our stay truly special. I can’t wait to return.

It was such a fantastic time. I visited this hotel for my honeymoon. All the staff treated us kindly and introduced us to a nice room. I can't forget the ancient room and the wonderful view. Not only breakfast, but also the restaurant where I had lunch and the bar I used for dinner were all perfect. I won't forget the well-cared garden. It's such a wonderful place that I want to visit Sicily again later. Thank you to everyone at the hotel.

Beautiful

Beautiful property, staff, service. Everyone so friendly and welcoming. We only ate in the bar as the restaurant menus did not appeal - food and drink were good here but rather over-priced. Amazing views of the sea, coastline and mount Etna. Great to have a heated swimming pool, although it was closed until 10am so disappointed we couldn’t have a pre-breakfast swim. Very enjoyable stay overall. Thankyou to all the wonderful staff!

2주간의 이탈리아 여행 중 가장 행복했던 곳. 체크인을 도와준 양복입은 안경쓴 직원(좋은 향기가 나는)을 시작으로 모든 직원들이 정말 친절했다. 호텔은 매우 깨끗했고, 아름다운 정원을 가졌을 뿐만 아니라 호텔 자체가 머물며 구경할만한 가치가 있는 멋진 공간이다. 타오르미나도 아름답지만 그에 못지 않게 아름다운 호텔이니, 타오르미나를 방문한다면 꼭 이 호텔에 머물기를 추천한다. 그리고 아침 조식을 서빙해주는 남성직원이 매우 친절했다. 그는 투숙객의 이름을 기억해주고 식사를 편안하게 할 수 있도록 신경써주었다. 조식은 매우 맛있고 깨끗하며 에트나 화산을 바라보며 바다의 지평선과 함께 시간을 보낼 수 있었다. 조식에 크로와상과 피스타치오 크림을 꼭! 커피와 함께 즐겨주세요. 정말 황홀한 시간이었다. 언젠가 시칠리아를 다시 방문한다면 타오르미나는 반드시 3박 이상 머물 것!!! 이 호텔은 이탈리아 뿐만 아니라 서유럽 전체를 통틀어 가장 아름다운 호텔이었다.
