This is an excellent hotel with a very friendly and accommodating staff. Our room faced the sea and the view was absolutely beautiful. The Eggs Benedict breakfast on our balcony was of my favorite things we did and it was delicious. Also, it was very relaxing having drinks in the bar, looking at the sea every evening before going out. The location in the town is perfect. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone.

You stay there because of the view and central location. Huge price tab of a Ritz or Four Seasons without the customer service.... Staff is not terribly helpful at times. We asked for a "Do Not Disturb" sign for bedroom several times. Crickets. We asked to change a large Euro bill. Crickets. We asked for a late checkout for one of our several rooms. Nope. But the view is stunning!

The location, overlooking the Mediterranean sea was absolutely amazing. New Years Dinner at the hotel? Better Impossible.. but the best part of staying at the Metropole was the service, incredibly friendly, happy Staff, Kudos for Angelique and Giuseppina. Highly recommend staying at the Metropole!!
