This place was a hidden gem. We stayed in the Cowboy Suite and really enjoyed our visit. Beautifully decorated, nice peaceful grounds. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was very friendly. Would stay here again!
Nicolas and Anna were great hosts. Nicolas is a trained chef so the breakfasts were fantastic. Hot tub is great. Nice location to look out at mountains. Very quiet. Strong recommendation!!
Even though our first night in the room started off extremely hot, staff worked hard to make accommodations for us and go above and beyond from there. Breakfast was wonderful and the property is beautiful. Parking super easy as well.
This could be such an amazing place to stay given the history but the rooms are just not very clean given how old it is. The room we stayed in definitely needs to be redone. The shower was unacceptable to stand in let alone take a shower in.
On the bright side, the staff was amazing- very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was outrageously delicious!
We just adored our stay at Hacienda del Sol.
The staff we amazingly kind and professional- the my truly take pride in the property and maintaining the excellent vibe of the property.
So close to town yet private- it’s a true gem of a find. Our casita opened to the common courtyard area where we had the most amazing view of the mountains whilst our dogs enjoyed the outdoors. I will for sure stay again and I can’t wait!!!
Cory’s service was exceptional! We didn’t know what to expect from our visit as it was our first time staying at Hacienda del Sol. Upon seeing that my partner, who is 6’5”, had a bit of difficulty navigating the original room that we booked due to his height, he upgraded us to a room that better suited our needs. The complimentary breakfast each morning was another unexpected surprise. Cory went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything that we needed during our stay, and provided valuable insight on different sights and activities for us to participate in and around Taos. We’ll definitely be back, thanks to Cory.
Historic and comfortable bed and breakfast. The beds are super comfy and there are heaters along with the kiva. Breakfast was wonderful with various choices, including tamales, cereals, bagels, small quiches, tea, coffee, juice. Delicious food and the cozy dining area is very nice. Quiet and nice grounds along with a hot tub to help you wind down.
We had a wonderful time! Great location and great rooms. The daily breakfast was our favorite part of our stay! We also really enjoyed all the staff who were inviting and helpful.
Unique rooms, very comfortable bed, nice amenities including clean hot tub, beautiful large private garden/yard, heavy robes, and decent breakfast - although it’s buffet style, it’s nicely attended.
Bed was super comfortable, staff very friendly and attentive. Overall loved the atmosphere and beauty of property and its surroundings. Would definitely stay again.
