Our beautiful room was comfy, pet friendly, and welcoming. The staff was wonderful as was Peggy, the Inn Keeper. The grounds are beautiful and very quiet. The location is outstanding--an easy walk to the Plaza. Very nice!

The setting and hotel were absolutely lovely! Close by but not right in the center of town, which gets pretty noisy at night. Walking distance to the Taos Plaza and numerous restaurants. Peggy, the owner, has owned and lovingly managed it for 30 years. It is the kind of place you'd love to stay for a week, relaxing in the sun in chairs on the patio and enjoying the delicious breakfasts. Would stay here again if we ever return to Taos. It's kinda hard to get there from Boston area, but so worth the trip!

A gem of a place, and a gem of an innkeeper! The nourishing and tasty homemade breakfasts fueled us every morning for the bounty of activities within an easy walk (historic sites, art museums, and plenty of libations). The host has amassed her own wonderful collection of stories, things, and recommendations which made this a great home base for our excursions to Chaco Canyon (3.75 hrs) and Ojo Caliente mineral springs (1 hr). We could have easily spent another week. The occasional morning Bach on piano and the dog barking made us feel like part of the family. Thank you immensely staff and place for a remarkable visit we will always remember!

The Inn La Loma was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay, The pictures on the listing don't do it justice.. The innkeeper was very welcoming and informative. The breakfasts were delicious!! I expected a pretty cursory affair as they often are, but it was made to order and was made up of several courses. I strongly recommend! I can't wait to return for a longer stay.

If you want to feel like a guest in a very kind person's home, this is where you want to be. Peggy, Charles and Winston run the place and do nearly everything. They still find the time to be helpful, kind, accommodating and generous. The setting feels like a country house, even though you could walk to the plaza. The breakfasts are to order and are amazing! It's incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Just wonderful.

Delightful place to stay and experience Taos. Excellent made to order breakfast was graciously served in the sunroom. We stayed in the Georgia Garden room—beautifully decorated with comfortable linens and bed. Love the atmosphere and enjoyed meeting the dogs who were traveling with other guests.

The owner Peggy and her dog Winston are wonderful hosts. Peggy is friendly and personable, and Winston got along great with our two small dogs. The grounds are simple and beautiful, and our room was rustic and filled with beautiful art. Peggy‘s made to order breakfast was relaxed and yummy. We will definitely book with the Inn on La Loma Plaza on our next trip to Taos.

What a lovely place to get away. The building had quaint charm and my room was cozy and welcoming. All I needed for a fire was ready to go, bed and bedding was luxurious and comfortable, coffee for the morning with REAL creamer in the fridge. The dining room and common sitting room was inviting and decorated beautifully. My made to order breakfast was healthy and delicious. Biggest treat was the personable staff. True locals that treated me like a new friend.
A warm cozy fire to help me relax at the end of the day! Remember to save some wood for the morning. Restocked daily.
