The Casita at La Posada de Taos is your little getaway two blocks away from Taos Plaza. A one bedroom with single pull out couch sleeps 2 adults in elegant comfort. Please note that our beautiful fireplaces are non- functional.Enjoy the private and enclosed patio. La Posada de Taos offers many unique spaces available for larger parties, from a one room boutique hotel room to a 3 bedroom historic and luxurious home. Lush shared courtyards are also yours to use just steps away from your front porch. Wifi, complimentary coffee and tea.

This Casita is a newly renovated historic adobe and just a two block stroll to downtown Taos. Walk to restaurants, museums and art galleries or stay in and enjoy a meal and wine on the private patio or shared courtyard at La Posada de Taos.

La Posada de Taos hosts several unique spaces to rent for larger groups up to 25 guests. Please ask how we can host your family or group for your next gathering.

Rooms are decorated in a romantic southwestern style. The decor in the home compliments the Southwest exterior.

Wood beam ceilings, hand-carved furniture, local and national art and artifacts complete the look in this warm and friendly atmosphere of casual elegance.

The house is a one bedroom and has a new king size memory-foam mattress, a closet, dresser and television with cable. There is a full bath with sink and jacuzzi corner tub, cozy living room, newly refinished wooden floors, Navajo rugs and a sofa that pulls out to sleep one more.


The private patio has seating for two to enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktails.

La Posada de Taos maintains a lush courtyard that you are welcome to share during your stay. Enjoy your time in the landscaped area just a few steps away from your private retreat.

This was such a fantastic place to stay! It was charming and cute and had such a great outdoor space! The location was perfect in its proximity to downtown Taos. We enjoyed this little casita tremendously and would definitely stay here again!

Amazing casita experience

We absolutely loved our stay at the casita and would definitely stay here again. The jacuzzi feature didn't work, but it was still a really nice soaking tub.

Perfect little casita for our week in Taos. It is small but had all the necessities. Checking in and out was a breeze. It was quiet and within walking distance to the plaza. There was no kitchen, but there is a microwave and a mini frig. The casita has its own private patio area along with a larger beautiful outdoor sitting garden shared with the other guests. The grounds are lovely.

Lovely casita

We stayed in Casita D with its own designated parking. Within three blocks to historic town plaza. Lovely garden and private outdoor seating area. The inside is very cozy and decorated very New Mexican. Kingsize bed was comfortable, shower/jacuzzi was very nice. Kiva fireplace just for looks, freezer of refrigerator doesn’t freeze enough to make ice cubes.

Great little place for your Taos visit

We stayed in the Casita unit on this property. Cozy place for a couple to hang out for a few days. Easy walking distance to the downtown Plaza area, restaurants, and other attractions in the heart of Taos. Didn’t have any communication with the property mgr, but didn’t need to. The Jacuzzi unit didn’t work, but everything else onsite was just as described. Very enjoyable stay.

Spring Break Getaway

We had a fabulous time and La Casa was just perfect. I even miscalculated how many days we needed to stay. Louisa was awesome and accommodated us quickly and was great about it. We will stay here again on our next visit to Taos. Such a wonderful experience!!

Beautiful, Comfortable Tiny Casita

Our first impression was how tiny this rental is. No kitchen, but a microwave and mini-fridge. However, unless you enjoy cooking full meals while on vacation (we don't), this rental is a perfect size. Roomy bedroom, comfortable living area, and bathroom with a nice shower and bathtub. We had all the room we needed. This rental is walking distance to the historic area. It is immaculately maintained. We will definitely be returning.

Taos Casita

The casita La Casa was clean, nicely decorated, the whirlpool bath tub was lovely and the courtyard was enjoyable. However, the bed was extremely hard and very uncomfortable, the smoke detector had been removed from the bedroom, there was no TV in the livingroom and the TV in the bedroom wasn't working correctly. The bed and TV issues, combined with the arrival of bad weather, were a deal breaker and we left Taos a day earlier than expected.
