We enjoyed being able to walk to historic downtown, The street is busy during the day, but there is off street parking, which was really helpful. Loved the adobe house with the thick walls, tiled floors. The bed was comfy as was the living room furniture. We didn't use the back patio (rained every afternoon and evening we were there) but it would have been nice.
Perfect for a family of three or four. Easy five-minute walk to the Taos Plaza or grocery store. Appreciated the owner accommodating us for an early check-in and late check-out around our flight schedule. Love and appreciate dog-friendly accommodations. Just use care and don't leave dogs unattended in back yard, as fence can be low for bigger jumpers and wide in areas for small dogs who might get through.
I made last minute reservations over the holidays and honestly wasn't that excited about the place. It seemed modest but convenient and there weren't too many options. But the house exceeded my expectations - plenty of room, dated but well-kept and close to the city center. Thanks.
I booked this home because it was dog friendly and close to everything in town, and we were not disappointed. The house was clean, cozy, and full of charm and character. We felt at home the minute we walked in and never wanted to leave. The washer and dryer were an extra bonus.
The house is large, private, and a short walk to the plaza. Smiths is a 2 minute walk. The plaza is 8. Kit Carson Park about 15-17. The construction on the main road makes Siler road busy but not to bad. 10/10 would stay here again.
We had a wonderful week stay in Taos. This house was exactly what we were looking for since it was within walking distance to the plaza and most importantly the grocery store!! I was a little concern with the house not having AC (end of June), but that turned out to not be an issue due to the cool temps in Taos. My only suggestion to the owners would be to tidy up a bit more since there were quite a few dead house flys on the window seals.
Fabulous! Roomy, 2 bathrooms, confit table beds, walkable to Pickelball at Fred BACA park and Harwood museum. Kitchen pans were plentiful, skillets (large) too. Outstanding response for minor issues from Adobe Management. Need cheap mixing bowls and maybe a little more silverware. We will return!
