Come stay with us at La Posada De Taos !

This home is a newly renovated historic adobe located in the very center of downtown Taos. Everything that the town of Taos has to offer is within easy walking distance (two blocks) which includes some of the regions best restaurants, museums and art galleries.

La Posada de Taos hosts several unique spaces to rent for larger groups up to 25 guests. Please ask how we can host your family or group for your next gathering.

The rooms are decorated in a romantic southwestern style. This decor in the home compliments the Southwest exterior.
Wood beam ceilings, hand-carved furniture, national and local art and artifacts complete the look in this warm and friendly atmosphere of casual elegance.

The house is a one bedroom and has a new kingsize memory-foam mattress, A/C, gas fired stove and a large closet. There is a full bath with large sink and ample counter space, exceptionally spacious living room with a gas-fired wood stove, newly refinished wooden floors, Navajo rugs and a luxurious leather sofa that pulls out to sleep two. There is Wifi and Smart TV with cable. The living area has plenty of other comfortable seating as well.

The kitchen has a full size fridge, large two-basin sink and is fully stocked with cookware. The marble countertops, stainless steel appliances and finished wood cabinets makes for a great experience if you plan to do some cooking.
The home has two A/C units. One each in the bedroom and living areas. There is also a washer and dryer for your use. Soap is supplied.

The private courtyard has a flagstone patio, wrought iron table and chairs with umbrella, outdoor leisure chairs and a fantastic gas barbecue grill (fuel supplied).

Next door, La Posada de Taos (the big house) across the lane, maintains a lush courtyard that you are welcome to share and explore during your stay. Enjoy your morning coffee or your evening cocktail, if you desire, in the landscaped area just across the way from your private retreat.

Wonderful, cozy get away

This is a well equipped, clean, and quaint adobe with a sunny courtyard that is perfect for coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay on at this quaint adobe style house so close to the Taos Historic District. The home was very private with a large courtyard. Very nicely decorated. Kitchen was well stocked and the bed was extremely comfortable. We would definitely stay there again!

Perfect Location

The house is very nice and is furnished appropriately for being in Taos. The air conditioners worked great. The owners are very nice and easy to work with. One of the major plus is location. So convenient to every thing. Yet the location is quiet.

Charming Adobe

A great property in a great location with kind and responsive owners and property manager. Peaceful and charming home with all the amenities including artful touches throughout and a lovely patio. Clean, well-appointed, and perfectly situated to enjoy easy walks to Taos plaza and beyond. If we are lucky enough to return to Taos, we can't imagine staying anywhere else.

Loved this home!

So happy we chose this little treasure. Excellent location near the town plaza. The unit was exceptionally clean,. Nice enclosed patio area to enjoy the cool mornings and evenings. Would definitely stay again and will recommend to friends and family. The historical adobe home is just adorable and and has everything you might need and the owner is just a phone call away and responds quickly. Thank you for making our short vacation so memorable.

Roadtrip

We truly enjoyed staying in this cute, spacious, well-appointed casita during the final days of a 4-week roadtrip. Very convenient location near Taos Plaza with easy access to dining and shopping. All the privacy we could ask for in the small courtyard. We did have one small issue and contacted the property manager. She responded almost instantly and the young man in charge of maintenance came over within minutes to take care of the problem. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Taos.

A Taos experience

The L shaped Casita and courtyard are lovely. The bedroom is comfortable and quite. The living room area gives you plenty of room. The kitchen has all you need. The washer and dryer worked well. We sat out on the patio and read in the morning while we drank our tea. The neighborhood cat kept us entertained at times. The inside of the Casita is simply beautiful. A short walk to the Plaza.

Another Amazing Stay at La Posada de Taos

Another amazing stay at La Posada de Taos! This was our third stay now and we absolutely love it here. Angela and Kent have done an incredible job and Louisa stays on top of everything. Every time we visit, it gets harder and harder to leave. Everything about La Posada de Taos is perfect - from Angela's keen sense of style in the decor, to the old world feel of the architecture, to sitting in the courtyard with a morning cup of coffee listening to the birds and the chimes from the nearby church. The location is perfect - close to the Plaza to quickly walk but far enough away that you can enjoy the quiet. Each time we are here, we are blown away. Thank you, Angela, Kent, and Louisa for another amazing experience. We cannot wait to be back.

La Posada de Taos, which was a general store more than 100 years ago, is now in the tops of its class, anywhere. It has it all: close to the historic plaza; very well-stocked with kitchen equipment; a comfortable bed worth taking home; first-rate art and artifacts representative of northern New Mexico; air conditioning; a quiet, restful patio and grill. You get the picture. It's a gem.

Charming Adobe

This was our second stay at this wonderfully charming adobe. Beautiful home, clean, well-appointed and with all the amenities tucked into a peaceful neighborhood just a few blocks from the plaza. Easy walk to the Adobe Bar, galleries, restaurants, and shops. The home is so lovely, peaceful, private, and inviting that, even with all Taos has to offer, we find it tough to venture away from the adobe and its private patio. We work remotely and find it the perfect "office" including reliable wifi. Owners provide friendly, clear, and prompt communication. Staying here greatly enriches our entire Taos experience.

Get out of the Oklahoma heat

We try to get out of the midsummer heat every year. This year we traveled to Taos.The Vrbo listing was very accurate and the accommodations quite comfortable. The house was at the end of a narrow deadend street, so no traffic. The kitchen was very well equipped and we ate in most meals. The restaurants were plentiful and we never had a bad meal experience. The grocery was nearby and we walked to the plaza. The weather was just what we wanted: lows in the 50's, highs in the 80's and low humidity. We kept the windows open until noon and the A/C was comfortable afterwards. Breakfast on the patio was perfect.The bedroom and bath were comfortable and well appointed. The only disappointment was the WiFi and TV. The WiFi connection went out often and had to be rebooted. The TV was some sort of streaming system that had several hundred channels but no live legacy broadcast channels. It was ABC, NBC and CBS news 24/7, no regular programing. No ESPN at all. The system did have Amazon Prime and Netflix. The property manager has contacted me to inform that the repair was made to the modem and now words well. We would return again and look forward to it.

Another Amazing Trip to Taos

We just returned from another amazing trip to Taos and equally amazing stay at Angela’s place near the plaza. We have stayed in this VRBO twice now but also stayed in two other VRBOs of Angela’s at La Posada de Taos. This is the perfect location for us - close enough to the Plaza for walking but far enough away to be peaceful. Angela just has that touch that makes the casita feel like a home. You feel like you’ve truly visited Taos and experienced it. As much as there is to see away from the casita, you almost don’t want to leave because the casita itself is so perfect. We love eating meals in the courtyard or enjoying a quiet cup of coffee while listening to the church bells. Louisa is amazing as well. She is super responsive and somehow manages to keep everything running smoothly. It’s a lot to handle and she does it with grace and ease. We are sad every year when our time at Angela’s comes to an end and from the moment we drive away, we’re already talking about our next visit.
