"The location for the stay is everything! The place is very clean, the staff is amazingly helpful. The pool was very clean and parking is easy. We will be staying there again and again. They accommodated all our requests. We didn't have breakfast there, I can't tell you anything about that."
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Tappahannock by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Everyone I encountered here was so nice, welcoming and treated my family like we were their own family. The hotel was nice and peaceful, the only “negative” that’s not really a negative was the TV/Internet seemed a bit dated but if that’s the complaint, that sounds like a win to me. The staff specifically would be the reason I make it my business to visit every time I’m in the area."

"We enjoyed our stay on Cobb Island. Lovely neighborhood, very friendly people. We enjoyed taking walks, relaxing on the dock, and fishing. The home had everything we needed. We enjoyed our weekend getaway, and are grateful for the opportunity to stay here."
"We absolutely loved our stay! The home was incredibly clean, cozy, and comfortable—it truly felt like a little home away from home. And the view… absolutely amazing! It was the kind of place where you just want to sit back, relax, and take it all in. Everything was exactly what we needed for a peaceful getaway. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing place to stay!"

Sea Glass Beach House! Large sand beach, dock and hot tub! Pets welcome!
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful house in a beautiful beach location. The house has a private beach and dock on the Potomac. The views are incredible. There is plenty of space inside the house for family activities, as well as an open-air deck and a screened-in outdoor dining area — which is where we had a family dinner each evening. Communication with the host was quick, easy and responsive."
