"This cottage was right on the main road in Colonial Beach. It was very clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. The outdoor area was relaxing and had a fire pit and grill. The location was close to everything in town. You could walk to the beach and many stores and restaurants. We love the area and hope to return soon!"

"This was our first time in Colonial Beach and we really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend renting a golf cart to get around town. The house is beautiful and in a great location close to everything. The homeowner was also great to work with and we’ll definitely be back soon!"

"Quiet area great for families. Loved the outdoor space. We brought 2 large dogs and they had a safe place to enjoy without escaping. The fire pit was nice and the shed with the beach chairs and different sized bikes was awesome. The inside was clean and had nice touches. The golf cart rentals and restaurants were very convenient."

"This was such a lovely weekend away right on the river! We enjoyed the water access, hot tub, tree swing and beautiful yard. The entire cottage has been lovingly restored and updated; the meticulously refinished pine floors are gorgeous! Everything was immaculate and well appointed. We will certainly be back!"

"I was looking for a nice, quiet, and relaxing, vacation. This property did not disappoint. The house was comfortable, cozy, well stocked, and so clean. The view is incredible. Just sitting outside watching the river was so "Zen". I had one of the most restful vacations ever. I was there for a little over two weeks and I would have stayed longer if I could have, Kim, the host, was very friendly and helpful. I look forward to staying at this beautiful property again."

"From the moment you drive up, you are in love with the property...you see the horses across the street and water view even from the front of the house! When you open the front door, you know you have started your vacation! Beautifully decorated open floor plan gorgeous home! You would think you are steping into a model home! Super cleaned! "We had a great stay here - the home was clean, nicely decorated, the kitchen was very well stocked and great access to the river. The teens loved being able to step right outside and fish. Good fishing too! We had rainy weather yet that didn't stop us from having a great time. Dan is excellent and timely with his communications too. Hope to return here this summer!"

"The property is easy to access and the house is filled with natural light from the huge windows. It’s a wonderful getaway if you want to unplug and enjoy a cozy few days of quiet. We found a waterfront Mexican restaurant nearby and walked to the winery next door. It’s very clean and the host is very responsive if you have any questions. Loved drinking coffee on the deck while enjoying the peaceful pond view. Left relaxed and refreshed!"
