Beautiful Private Lakefront Cottage with Hot tub

"Stepping out if the chaos of this world and into this private waterfront haven was exactly what me and my family needed. Having breakfast on the screened-in front porch, swimming in the lake, grilling, smores around the fire, and watching shooting stars (I saw 4!!) from the hot tub was how we spent our time. Absolute 5 out of 5! Would 100% recommend and we are already making plans to return! Things to note - you are 'out there' a little bit! I would suggest having everything you need before you get there if you want to avoid the drive back into town. We brought all our food and stayed put. My husband and I struggled to get comfortable on the mattress. This is a to each their own situation. There was nothing wrong with it, it was just a bit too firm for our taste.The stairs to the upstairs bedrooms are STEEP! Just be cautious, especially with little kids. We can't wait to come back!"

"This was an old home built in early 1939's - so almost 100! And because it is old, there are very steep stairs going up to bedroom. And for older folks, it's really not a good match. We had to come down sideways, holding tightly to the banister. There wasn't a handrail on wall side which would have helped. And the steps from back porch going down to the backyard were also narrow & at different heights which made them difficult as well taking our dog out, especially when it rained & they were wet! But over all the house was very clean & had comfortable beds. And only having the bathroom upstairs by bedroom was a little inconvenient. Maybe for young people, it woyld work fine, but for those in our mid-late 70's, not so much. The hosts were very nice as was next door neighbor. They could improve on their supplies better by having name brand detergents, soaps & paper goods. Most were from the dollar store."
