"Sits under and is part of an old castle. Wonderful for history buffs. The little patio with its plants and olive tree was a great place for meals. The manager and her husband were super friendly and helpful. Only one complaint and it’s for us seniors. The stairway to the bedrooms is white stone and hard to navigate for those with some vision and mobility issues. Let the over 70 crowd be aware. Otherwise it was wonderful and Boulbon is as charming as a small village can be."

"We just spent a fantastic week in the mas at St Etienne du Gres. The property is very spacious with 9 bedrooms, each of them with AC and most of them with an individual bathroom, which was perfect for our group of 13 adults. There are 2 kitchens with many utensils (the coffee machine was amazing), dishwashers, large fridges. The house offers many options in terms of entertainment ("boules de petanque", foosball, pingpong table, various TVs with streaming from Netflix), etc... There is also a tennis club nearby, which we used several times during our stay. The swimming pool is large, very clean with several comfortable chaise lounge around it. There is a very nice bike path that passes nearby and is easily accessible from the property (a good way to get to St Remy without having to take a car). Overall, we found that the description of the property was very accurate.The concierge team in charge of the check-in and check-out process was very friendly, professional and responsive when we had questions during the week. The house was very well prepared (clean and welcoming) for our arrival. Excellent quality of bedding. St Etienne du Gres is a small village with a very nice bakery, a butcher, a small (but very knowledgeable) wine & liquor store and a cafe. There is a large grocery store (Intermarche) in the direction of Beaucaire where you can buy groceries for the week. We spent a day in Camargue (a must see!).Everyone in our group enjoyed the stay. "Our entire family loved being at Mas de L'ilion. It exceeded our expectations. Our hosts were a delightful couple -- welcoming us and making us feel at home. When we first arrived, they provided us with cold fruit drinks and a welcome basket of fruit. We were easily able to get fresh pastries and fruit delivered to us each day. Our accommodations were beautiful and we loved the general plan of the Mas with ensuite bathrooms which was all beautifully decorated. The exterior was inviting with the plants and outdoor seating, and of course the pool was wonderful. It is situated in a lovely village with a good restaurant/brassiere around the corner. We were able to visit many places in the surrounding area like Avignon, St Remy, Gordes, I'ile sur la Sorgue, Les Baux and even took a day trip to Marseille and Cassis. I looked for a long time to find this place and it was perfect. We hated to leave. If you have a large family or a group of friends who want to visit Provence, this home will not disappoint you. I already know my friends in the USA will be asking me to help them plan a trip here for their next visit to France. It is definitely a place we will want to return. "

"This was a great, simple hotel for my short trip. The staff were flexible, allowing me to check in sooner to prepare for a wedding I was attending. It was located in a quaint and quiet neighborhood."
