"Olmares exceeded our expectations in every way. Eva the host was wonderful, she greeted us and told us the history of the property, gave us a tour of the communal spaces- which were lovely. She helped book a restaurant reservation in Potes and sent lots of links to walks and attractions. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The apartment was spotless, lovely touches like local bread, granola and a large vessel of spring water. Easy to get to attractions; the main town of Potes was 20 minutes drive away with lots of bars, shops and restaurants. The cable car at Fuente dé was great but really busy. Go early as parking was difficult. I would highly recommend this gem of a place."

"We came for the eclipse and found so much more. We loved this beautiful home and our host’s wonderful hospitality. It was our first time staying in a private home instead of a hotel, and it quickly eased any doubts. From the moment we arrived we felt warmly welcomed, like we were old friends.The house is cozy and comfortable, the neighborhood peaceful and safe, and the night sky beautifully dark—perfect for stargazing away from city lights.We came chasing the Moon’s shadow and left with lasting memories of the eclipse, the home, and the kindness we found here.This apple will bring you joy "
