"We had a wonderful time staying at The Secluded Cabin on 4th of July weekend. The weather unfortunately didn’t cooperate but that didn’t ruin our trip! Kat gave us wonderful suggestions of things to go around the area. The cabin was clean, had all the things we needed to bbq and provided some wonderful relaxation! "

"The cabin was awesome. Went to get away for a few days. A minutes walk from the river. Nature at its best. Ducks, deer, birds. Very peaceful. Walk away to great restaurants, bars, dancehalls, boutiques and shopping. Cabin was clean and quiet. Absolutely enjoyed this 2 day get away."

"Even though we’re from Texas and thought we knew the hill country area, we were amazed at the views all around us. The area is serene and beautiful. We felt like we got away from all the hustle and bustle while we were here. The house is comfy and feels like you’re all alone out in the hills, which is just what we wanted. Brent was a great host and replied promptly. Thank you for hosting us!"

"We loved the fact that it was isolated away from everyone and everything and all we could hear was nature! We enjoyed the birds singing in the morning and the deer walking around us at night. The night skies are amazing with all the stars shining. We caught some rain which was perfect to watch from the wrap around porch. Only thing I’ll add is the cabin needed a full size refrigerator because I took frozen foods and they only provided a small size fridge."

"My family had a great trip in Concan near the Frio River for a one week stay in June! We range in ages from 4 to 84 years old. The house was amazing and perfect for our large family to spread out when needed but to also come together for dinners and games. We had plenty of beds (which were super comfortable), and the main living area had plenty of seating for all 16 of us with room to spare. The outdoor area was perfect with a really nice, large pool and even more spaces to enjoy time at the house. This was my family's first time to the Frio river area and it did not disappoint! We were able to enjoy Garner State Park during the day and the jukebox dances at night (fun for all ages, highly recommend). We also put our tubes in the river at the nearby 7 Bluff Crossing, and we enjoyed the nightly dances at Joe Jimmy's. But to be honest, as great as the whole area was, we found ourselves just sticking around the house and having fun swimming in the pool and playing games the most. The hosts, Derek and Lauren were fantastic! They always responded quickly anytime we sent a message and a couple of times their groundskeeper needed to come by to take a look at some minor issues and he was super friendly. They sent an online guidebook with lots of helpful info and suggestions on how we can make our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend staying here! "
