"Lovely hotel in the centre of Taunton. We had a spacious, well-appointed room on the third floor with a nice view of the town. The hotel is an older building with lots of historic details / decor so it has a nice vibe. Daily room service kept everything clean and fresh and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is amazing: steps from the high street shops, cafes and pubs - you can't beat it. We'd definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again next time were in Taunton."

I stayed at the Farthings Hotel for 7 nights and found it a delightful spot located in the small village of Hatch Beauchamp, Somerset. I chose to have all my dinner meals at the Farthings restaurant despite the many other local options. The chef offered fresh fish (bream, sole, hake and salmon) cooked to perfection during my stay and could not resist having bream two nights in a row!
