"So welcoming, friendly - they just made everything easy. Great vibes with a beautiful space and attentive staff, but still felt relaxed and authentic and not sterile like a resort. Beautiful grounds, and small, so very peaceful and private. There is great snorkelling right across the road if you go at high tide."
"This is a great place to stay with a great family. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived, had a wonderful easy time and were very sorry to leave. This isn't a hotel or resort - it's a homestay and we really felt at home. Jale, Nita, Sia and Jima are creative, interesting and generally exceptional people and perfect hosts. They can organise lots of things for you to do, but they don't 'push' anything. It's up to you. The food was REALLY excellent - some of the best food we've eaten, ever,...

"What a sparkling gem to find Helen and Peter’s place to end our stay in Fiji. Just perfect for the 2 of us. Its quiet, amazing 180 degree views of the ocean and the islands, beautiful garden with the old gracious mango tree and comfortable bed, and value for money compared to our stays in resorts. Helen arranged for delicious home cooked Fijian meals to be delivered to our door at half of the price of elsewhere You can walk to other cafes and supermarket. Peter bought us home baked bread, coconuts , eggs and milk. Highly recommended would come in a heartbeat. Thankyou so much. "
"Idyllic location on a hill overlooking the ocean with a gorgeous property and bungalow. Knox and Kelera treat their guests like family and are incredibly gracious. They made a lovo dinner for us which was delicious and Knox drove us to all of our day trip destinations filling the driving time with interesting observations about the island and history. One of the nicest vacation stays I have ever experienced. "

"Wonderful 9-day stay at Sere Ni Ika. Beautiful 3 bdrm 2 bath home with incredible views, with stairs to the beach. Entire house made of tropical wood. The housekeeper, Loata, took immaculate care of the house and was so kind. We hired her to cook one evening and our meal was delicious. We also hired the property manager, Byron, to take us to a nearby islet for snorkeling, twice. He picked us up right at the beach and the snorkeling was fabulous. There is an outdoor shower on the path to the beach, a full kitchen, an incredible veranda and a lovely yard. Our dishes were cleaned for us and laundry washed and folded. Luxurious bath towels were provided. There is a small market, a fresh fruit stand, and a small eatery within a few hundred feet of the property. Restaurants are within walking distance or a short taxi drive away. We highly recommend, and hope to return! "

My two boys (aged 8 and 10) and I stayed for four nights and would have happily made it forty if we could have. Leaving was a bit of a shock to the system! If you and/or your kids like playing rugby, it's an especially great place. More broadly, Taveuni is a beautiful island - quiet but with things to see and do. Really worth a visit. Give it as much time as you can. Vinaka Vaka Levu - we look forward to coming back which we will certainly do. "
"Loved my week long stay at Taveuni. I decided on this place for the grounds, accessibility to the ocean, and opportunity to interact with others. The plantation grounds were lovely. Rooms are variable - I recommend Bure 112 (upgraded) or 5. Haven’t seen many others. The restaurant was reliable - big meals in the evenings. Great omelet and pancakes. Try the road for the best roti, papaya and plantains or a fish meal for $1.50-$5 US. Kava and songs in the evenings.
Lovely ladies in staff will help you with everything you need. Fins and snorkel, towel rental. Shower out back for late flight departures. Nice pool.
Central location. Excursions with Pete, Mateo and Batman car were great. Walking distance to a couple food places, airport and two small markets, and beautiful evening sunsets (Tramonte)/sunrises. "
Beautiful ocean view home on 1 acre across from the beach. Prime Location

"Our party of five had the most wonderful holiday staying in Raintree Garden. From the moment we were met at the airport until we left we were so well looked after by Jay.
The house had everything we needed including fruit from the garden. Nothing was too much trouble for Jay and his wonderful tour guide Ajay.
Ajay showed us many wonderful sights on the island including the Laveena Coastal Walk, Bouma Waterfalls and birdwatching. Ajay's wife cooked us a wonderful dinner.
Jay's neighbour Vinna also cooked us a wonderful meal and provided us with some fantastic massages.
There is a market on one side of the house and organic ice cream shop on the other, both we visited often.
Everyone agreed it was one of the most peaceful and enjoyable holidays we have been on and we can't wait to go back."
