It’s quiet, spacious, and surrounded by the stunning Ria Formosa, making it perfect if you’re looking to switch off and unwind. There’s easy access to the local beach, and the boat transfer directly from the hotel to Tavira Island (for a small fee) is a real standout feature. Facilities are solid, with pools, a spa, bars, and a good restaurant serving local Algarve dishes. The on-site museum and preserved buildings add an extra layer of interest and authenticity. Staff are excellent throughout, and the rooms are clean and well maintained. Breakfast offers a wide selection, although it can feel a little repetitive over longer stays. The only real trade-off is the location. It’s not in Tavira town centre, which is great for peace and quiet, but you’ll need to rely on taxis, Uber, or a short drive to get into town."

"We had a lovely four nights here in this older but charming hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms with a Juliette balcony to relax on. Breakfast on offer was lovely and we enjoyed the evening meals… delicious! Right across from the ferry to Tavira Island it was a perfect spot."

"A wonderful property, beautifully kept, very clean & spacious rooms. Breakfast is lovely and the setting is fabulous. A short 30 minute stroll to the nearest small town for restaurants & train station. Bikes available to borrow and a very peaceful orange grove location. The staff are very welcoming & helpful. This was our second stay and we will return."
