We had read reviews that mentioned the train which was good to know ahead of time. I made two casseroles to take to a brunch and the kitchen was stocked with the necessary kitchen utensils. "So I ended up staying here alone for an entire week. It was the perfect little house and I could see renting it for a girls weekend or couples weekend. The furniture they picked out fits perfectly and I loved that laundry was on the first floor. Location was close to great restaurants & grocery stores. I felt safe and there were single women walking their dogs through out the neighborhood. Backyard was cute & it was nice knowing the neighbors were watching out for me as well since I was alone....

"Thank you so much Carol for sharing your wonderful place with us. Beautiful and spacious home with a wonderful view throughout the house of the lake. My boys loved fishing off the dock and caught many fish! All the beds were very comfortable. Quiet and pleasant neighborhood. The house was clean and welcoming, with many little things that we haven't had with many of our VRBO rentals. Usually you have to buy all the little things like toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, etc. Carol had them all....

"Had a great time here! It was hard to find a dog friendly place so this was awesome. Parking available for two cars in driveway, great yard/patio to relax on and have some drinks. Our dog loved laying outside on the grass and the cool pavement! Easy check in process and thank you for the list of restaurant/bar recommendations. Very clean and neighborhood is nice. We spent most of our time in downtown Detroit which is about 20-25 mins away, would def stay here again!"

"This was the most immaculate stay!! Everything was clean, everything was usable, and there were so many extras! I’ve never had a rental fully load me up with snacks, beverages, even a bottle of wine! There was a small surprise to take home, every place to hang out was comfortable and equipped with anything you’d ever think of needing. This place was well worth the cost considering the extras and the location. Thank you for sharing your space!"

"Excellent stay at Nice and Cozy. Plenty of room for everyone and i ejoyed that the host had everhing we might have needed tonise. Although the hose was pretty clean, i would suggest a little dusting, especially in the corners in the upstairs bedrooms near the AC units. I would absolutely recommend this this place to anyone visiting the area. "
