"We had family ThanksMas here this year. Group consisted of adults, teens, tweens, and little ones. House was fantastic. Everyone loved the chicken coop and the large yard (plus open field next door) to run and play in. Pool was great but didn't get used much because of weather. Kitchen was fully stocked, great appliances, and laid out perfectly. Good layout for bedrooms and everyone also enjoyed the game room. Great communications with the hosts. "The McKinley Inn is a great place to stay in Elgin. The downtown location is perfect with restaurants and shopping that are all within easy walking distance. It's also very close to 290 with other restaurant options and grocery stores. The building itself is perfect for several people.
