"Dear IHG Guest Relations, My wife and I are long-time guests of your properties, and our experience at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites in Magee, Mississippi, has always been nothing short of excellent. Every time we return to Magee, we are consistently impressed by the professionalism, cleanliness, and overall guest experience. That location sets the standard for what Holiday Inn should be. However, I regret to inform you that our most recent stay at the Holiday Inn International off Harborside Drive (5002 Seawall Blvd, Galveston, TX 77551) was the worst we have ever had with your brand. From the moment we checked in, it was clear that this property did not meet the IHG standard. The customer service was lacking, the condition of the facility was disappointing, and our overall experience left us feeling frustrated and frankly, disrespected as loyal guests. We booked this stay through Hotels.com, and we expected a seamless, professional experience from both Holiday Inn and the booking platform. Unfortunately, that was not the case. We are requesting that someone from IHG contact us directly to discuss and resolve this matter. If no action is taken, we will be forced to consider alternative hotel brands going forward. "Everyone there is so friendly and helpful. The front desk lady even offered a roll away bed for my son. The breakfast had lots of choices and the lady working it was so sweet. We will definitely stay there again. "

"Perfect property for 2 people. This property is a short walk to town and located in the historic district. Sweet host and met us with a plate of cookies. Cute cottage, very clean, comfortable mattress…which is important after a long day of walking! The first day we walked into town and visited shops and restaurants. The second day we took a tour and went to places outside of downtown. Hilltop Guesthouse is the perfect location for your stay in Laurel. You won’t be disappointed and we plan on going back for Christmas, as we were told the homes are all decorated beautifully. "
