"Great extended family vacation! Property was absolutely beautiful - great location on the lake, nice cove for swimming. Golf cart was very helpful for getting to and from the dock. The kids loved the floating mat, the kayak, and the paddle board, as well as the two-story dock, which they jumped off of plenty of times. Not to mention the pool table, ping pong table, and indoor games. Tons of fun!Things to be aware of…the paved path down to the lake is fairly steep (like many other properties on the lake), and driving the golf cart on the path requires someone with a bit of skill to avoid running off the path). Also, the drive to the house itself has a number of steep hills…again, normal for the area, but slightly more than other places we’ve stayed in the past. Recommend using your engine to reduce speed down the hills, as we could smell our brakes after our (fully loaded) van first arrived! The lake was a little low during our visit due to lack of rain - no issues in the cove, but boaters should be aware for other parts of the lake. We found that the two cable tethers on either side of the rear of the boat dock weren’t submerged very far under the water (5-6ft deep), so swimmers and jumpers should be cautious. Once you know where they are, it’s no big deal. Not an issue for boaters. Overall great trip…straightforward arrival and departure, responsive and helpful host, and clean beautiful property. We loved our stay - lots of great memories & would love to come back!"
