Come and enjoy what Te Anau has to offer, peace and quiet, grand mountain views and beautiful bush walks.
Day and overnight boat trips in stunning mountain and bush terrain.
The Glow worm cave trip is excellent for everyone in the family.
Thrills can still be found blasting down the Waiau River where some of the Peter Jackson Lord of the Rings film was made.
A challenging 18 hole golf course awaits and the tennis club is gaining international recognition.
Our stunning holiday home is only a short walk to the lake front, restaurants and 3 world class walking tracks but far enough away from any traffic to feel lost in the views. Backing onto a reserve there is plenty of space for children to play. The indoor outdoor flow makes this home easy living, you stay sheltered from the elements at all time and can still absorb the view.
The table tennis room is proving very popular with all ages and is a welcome activity if the weather has turned ! But even then the moody backdrop of the mountains is awesome !
We have put in a small sandpit to keep the toddlers amused !
There are 3 queen sized beds and two king singles in one bedroom which are also suitable for adults .
We do have a 3 bedroom property at 27 Jackson street if you have a larger group looking for quality accomodation.

Come and Visit Invercargill as part of your trip enjoying a stunning drive from TE ANAU on the Southern Scenic route through stunning scenery including breath taking views travelling alongside the sea fromTuatapere to Riverton .

Home away from home

We stayed here as our base to exploring Milford Sound region and just loved. Family of 6 adults we had plenty of space and felt right at home. Very clean and well organised.

Well stocked kitchen. Well presented property. Teens loved the ping pong table. Comfy beds. Free delivery to house of takeaway meals as they were so close. Would definitely recommend.

Very large, comfortable house in a great area

We enjoyed our 2 nights here as a drop off place to visi Milford Sound. The house was big enough for 8 people (4 bedrooms). The views out the windows to the snow capped mountains were beautiful. The house had everything you would need from a fully equipped kitchen to a larder full of pots and pans The only thing we needed to provide was washing powder. A bonus for families is the table tennis table in the large back room.

Four friends, travelling together really enjoyed our time in Te Anau. The home had everything we could need and often found lacking in other home-stays, especially with iron & ironing board as there were shouts of joy from some when these were found.

Te Anu visit

House was in a pretty, residential neighborhood. It was better than we expected from the pics of it. We thought it a bit unusual that the owner showed up before our checkout time on the last day. Without identification or notice it made us nervous as to who was walking in the house . Otherwise , great stay.

Lovely place

Nicer than the pictures - this house is near a lake and town - comfy beds and furnishings. Small TV but that's ok. Great base to explore Milford sounds and start Kepler track. Very well equipped kitchen.
