"This house has the qualities of a classic Kiwi bach, with some well-conceived improvements. The view onto the water is stunning, and the extended deck plus generous windows and ranch sliders make allowed us to enjoy this on fine and wet days. The wood heater was stocked with plenty of firewood. The large new shower was great although our 90yr old mother needed a handhold. The split level floors were a challenge for her walker, and a handhold in the toilet would have been helpful. However the enjoyment of the ambience, scenery and birdlife made the stay a pleasure for us all. We would love to return one day. "

"Absolutely stunning views!Beautfiul accommodation.Quiet & scenic, would book again!Only thing to improve is Bookabach/Owner to better clarify how to enter the room - found it a process to login and wasn't clear so had to phone owner which could have been avoided, owner was quick to answer the phone and helpful however!"

The room was really bright and the view was phenomenal. I recommend taking the water taxi from Picton, but the drive was scenic. Thank you Punga Cove for a memorable stay. "

"Kiwi as but great. Without being flash it has been refined over many years by the look. Very practical if you're staying for fishing or socializing. Of course the weather was amazing for us, but there is a good covered deck right by the lounge if required and internal stairs to get downstairs, if you're brave enough.Loved it and will be back."
