The property is set on one level and there is the most fantastic outdoor kitchen which includes, large pizza oven and barbecue as well as a bar and ample seating.

We provide enough wood for the pizza oven for two a night stay. More wood can be purchased if required.

This lovely lodge is set on the owner’s former stud farm, it boasts comfortable, cosy accommodation whilst being rural it is set conveniently between the two popular towns of Shrewsbury and Telford, which both offer a wide variety of bars, shops, and restaurants.

It’s peaceful, cosy, and perfectly set up for weekend breaks, walking / cycling trips, or longer country escapes.

There are many attractions situated nearby for all ages to enjoy. There are an array of walks in the Shropshire Hills, and the Edge Adventure Activities Centre offers plenty of outdoor activities. Days out include visits to the historic town of Ironbridge, famous for its iron bridge, and the Ironbridge Gorge Museum.

The property was graded by the British Horse Society for its high standard of horse care and is an equestrian lover’s delight. On site there are facilities for horses such as a stabling, five-bay horse walker, training pen, double-size boxes, post and rail paddock grazing. Guests can bring their horses with them, by prior arrangement, additional fee will apply.

Guests have access to the entire lodge and outdoor kitchen. They have access to the private gym, please follow the rules. And access to the laundry room on request.

The stables, five-bay horse walker, training pen, double-size boxes, post and rail paddock grazing are available for those bringing their horse(s) by prior arrangement - please enquire for cost.

The owner lives on site, although often away, he is friendly and helpful but leaves you to enjoy your stay uninterrupted. However, if you want interaction and a chat, he will only be too happy to oblige.

You will be required to sign our rental agreement (terms and conditions) provide a form of identity, and pay a refundable security deposit or damage waiver. This is done via Safeguest and a link to do this will be provided when you book the reservation.
