"We really enjoyed staying in our studio room and although we didn't cook we did use the kitchen for breakfast and snacks. We didn't have a washing machine, but the apartments do, so keep that in mind when picking rooms. The bathroom is ultra modern with a fab shower and lots of space. It is very central in town."

"All was good, but the property needs some major refit - upgrade! Regarding their swimming pool Expedia needs to write as the same as the breakfast is ticked, same needs to be done with swimming pool as they say it’s NOT included in the they call it package! I have tried to explain that wasn’t a package and usually if there is a pool, guests can use it! I have been allowed to use it, but it needs to be marked as same as the breakfast otherwise it will need to be paid for!"

"In a string of five backpacking days and high mountain huts, Hotel Sliezsky Dom was an unusually pampering exception. This is by far the most spoiling high mountain lodging I've ever been to (and I have trecked in five continents). Chef-made food, well equipped bar, comfortable rooms, and much more. Much more than a mere mountain hut"

"Obiekt w bardzo atrakcyjnej lokalizacji, jako plus. Kłopoty z parkowaniem w związku z tym. Na szczęście w pobliżu hotelu to możliwe choć nie jest to najtańsza opcja /bezpłatnie dla rezerwacji bezpośrednich i 20EUR dla pozostałych/. Obiekt obsługują wspaniali ludzie, zawsze pomocni i uśmiechnięci. Jednym z ciekawszych udogodnień jest możliwość wyboru poduszki do spania z menu, dzięki czemu pierwszy raz spałem na końskim włosiu. Mały minus za brak gotowości stanowiska do smażenia omletów na śniadaniu od godziny 7. Poza tym śniadania bez zarzutu, szeroki wybór produktów atrakcyjnych, smacznych i dobrej jakości. Powitanie w hotelu bardzo miłe ale pożegnanie także. Pomoc w zapakowaniu bagaży i wyprawka - herbata w prezencie i woda na drogę. Wspaniały hotel."

"The receptionist was very welcoming and gave us useful information about walks and transport. The room was compact, and the bathroom a little dated but city was all clean. Even in summer air conditioning was not needed. Free parking and easy walk to restaurants and the train station is 2 minutes walk away. From there you can travel using a day ticket for €7 to any of the stops the High Tatras network. Breakfast was fresh, but quite a lot of meat and egg dishes. Only issue was that we requested the room cleaning using the door hanger but very little was done. Wet bathmat was not changed, cups were not cleaned, surfaces were not cleared and beds were unmade. This was a little disappointing in an otherwise good stay."
