"Casa Chameleon is a beautifully planned and executed resort. The views are incredible from all areas of the property, as it sits at the top of the ridge that sets the south edge of Playa Danta, and the north edge of Playa Pan de Azucar. The main resort buildings have been situated on the top of the ridge, so the welcome plaza and restaurants/resort pool all look out from the peak elevation. As a result, be prepared for steps down to your villa and steps back up to get to the main facilities. Exercise will be experienced! Each villa has been positioned to give a sense of isolation - you truly feel like you are in your own personal oasis. The small infinity pool in each villa is a great touch, and I think I need to get one installed in my home now! The restaurants are some of the best rated in Las Catalinas, and rightfully so. The included breakfast is any breakfast entree from the restaurant menu, and there is nice variety of savory and sweet options. My favorite part of Casa Chameleon is the service people. They are truly gracious and welcoming, and so ready to share what they know about all of the towns and beaches down the coast. Also, they are more than happy to help someone with poor Spanish skills learn a few more words and phrases that are helpful throughout your stay. Would definitely consider staying again!"

"This hotel has a great location, right on the beach. There are no loungers,umbrella rentals or public restrooms on Potrero Beach so being at the hotel you have all of that. The water there is calm, great for swimming. Similar to many places in Costa Rica there were some plumbing issues, plugged toilet and plugged shower drain but maintenance fixed it right away and we were fine for the rest of the stay. It is clean, the buffet breakfast is good. You can order an omelette in addition to what is set out. Food is very expensive in Costa Rica so we filled up at breakfast then didn’t eat until supper. I would definitely return. "

"Beautiful home & outdoor space. Loved the location right on the beach with so many restaurants to choose from nearby. Jimmy the consierge was very helpful in planning our stay & arranging activities for our group including golf carts to cruise around the town. Having daily housekeeping & security was definitely a plus. Also enjoyed the chef & in home spa services!"

"The house was perfect for our large family group of 17! Jimmy and the Casa team were amazing. They kept everything tidy, were responsive, and the chef service was top notch!! The perfect combo of having swimming pool option and beach. "

"The room was very nice. I will say that I didn't have any furniture on my balcony, which was kind of a bummer. I've seen other complaints about staff being rude, not the case with me. The staff at the restaurants, bars, and rooftop were very nice and very friendly. I have seen other reviews about the front desk staff being rude. Personally? I didn't experience that but didn't have very many interactions with them other than hello. So, no problems there. I would recommend this hotel for individuals that just want to chill. If you are used to all-inclusives with a ton of entertainment options on-site, this is not the place for you. Also, keep in mind that there barring Copper and Stone (which is very nice and convenient) but there is nowhere to purchase outside goods ie) snacks, bottled water, beer, etc. If you want something for the room, pick it up on your way to the hotel, if you do not have a car. Otherwise, it can get a tad bit pricey. All in All, it was what I was expecting because I did a lot of research in advance. "

" 5 Stars – Absolutely Perfect Stay!We cannot say enough great things about this home! We had 9 couples, and every single couple had their own bedroom and bathroom — which made the trip so comfortable and seamless. There was more than enough space for everyone to spread out, relax, and still gather together.We rented golf carts for the full week, which made getting around easy and fun. While there isn’t a huge nightlife scene, we honestly didn’t need it — we made our own fun every night! There are so many coffee shops, bars, and restaurants all within walking distance, which was such a bonus.The in-house staff was absolutely amazing — attentive, friendly, and so helpful throughout our stay. The owners were extremely responsive from start to finish, which made everything stress-free.One of the unexpected highlights? The ice machine at the pool bar! It may sound simple, but it made pool days that much better.We also had a chef come in for two nights, and the food was incredible. Such a fun and delicious experience for our group.Truly not one single issue the entire week. Everything exceeded our expectations. We highly, highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay here again!"
