"For a hotel rated 4star, it is lacking some basic items - there is no bar fridge in your room, there is no towel rail in the bathroom wide enough to hold 2 towels (only one small towel at a time, which was threadbare - almost thin enough to push my finger through it and had loose pulled threads on the side seams.) No other hooks in the bathroom, no body lotion nor conditioner provided.
Only 1 free bottle of water per person per stay.
Staff were generally unhelpful. I had to ask daily for coffee pods to be replenished, and when I asked for milk I was only offered powdered milk sachets (no milk creme pods available apparently). I would have bought fresh milk if I had a fridge to store it in!!
The hotel is in a good location - easy walking distance to shopping and public transport in Alexanderplatz. Our room was adjacent to an inner courtyard and we had no trouble with noise.
Didn't have any meals at the hotel so can't comment here.
Would I stay here again? NO! The hotel was too expensive and did not provide the level of accommodation that we would expect for the price. On this recent trip, we stayed in a number of European hotels - and this one was by far the most disappointing."
