"I can’t speak highly enough of my stay at Kay’s place... but I will try. First of all, Kay’s communication was excellent…from the moment I booked to the moment I arrived where Kay met me and my golf buddies. Kay walked us through the house and showed us where everything was. Additionally, she told us all about the surrounding areas and gave us some great suggestions of things we could do. Kay even made dinner reservations for us at a local establishment. She constantly was reaching out to see how things were going. What a truly amazing host we had. The house was perfect for what we wanted and would be great for a bunch of guys on a golf adventure… and probably even better for a bigger family or a group of couples. The home has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. It has a big kitchen with a large table and another room with tons of glass that has another large table and is perfect for dinners etc. There is also a quaint TV room that seats at least 8 for relaxing, watching TV or just chatting with an after dinner drink. We didn’t ever make use of the “game building” that was just off of the main house. It has a lot of activities for kids od those competitive groups. Overall, I would rate my experience there as a 10 out of 10… made even that much better with Kay as the host. I HIGHLY recommend staying there if you get a chance as I will be back for sure if ever in that are again. Thank you Kay!"

"This reservation was a saving grace after a VRBO reservation was ignored by the owner in Dingle. This is a wonderful property and the manager is a gentleman without equal. He was upset at the cost we had been charged and adjusted it to my advantage as it should have been. The room was great and the breakfast was superb. I could not recommend a place more if folks are heading to Tralee."

"This cottage and the countryside were truly magical! I cannot say enough great things about our host, Donal. Not only is he a historian of the area, but also about the buildings and farms in the area. He has lovingly restored and maintained this cottage, and it has all of the modern updates that made us very comfortable. The kitchen was well-appointed, and he greeted us with homemade scones, local and delicious butter, and local jam. He gave extensive recommendations on where to eat, what to see, and we took many of his recommendations, which were all spot on. I hope to come back to visit again, and I highly recommend this lovely cottage and town. Thank you so much, Donal!"

"We had a little trouble finding the cottage using Apple Maps but once we got here it was great!! The cottage is adorable, has lots of space and easily fit our family of 5. It’s a bit of a hike to get to the surrounding towns but we were totally immersed in the real life of Castleisland. Highly recommend!"

"A quiet, secluded, peaceful spot conveniently near the ferry. Great walks in the area, the nearby cliffs of Ballybunion are beautiful, and the castle makes a lovely neighbor. The birds really love the remains of the original manor house, and we enjoyed watching their antics. Lovely spot!"
