"Can't really believe this is just rated as a 3-star hotel. I've stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels that didn't offer the same comfort and rooms. Staff are amazing, always responsive. Breakfast is decent and the treatments in the hotel's spa were great. Best of all, rooms are clean and spacious."

"Very nice staff. Excellent room with a large balcony overlooking the street below. My travel companion had an early morning departure and the front desk arranged breakfast to go. How thoughtful ! My breakfast in the adjoining restaurant was great. We will definitely stay here again. "

"Positives: Staff accommodated my requests. Daytime staff in particular were helpful. We were able to check in early. Room was of good size with water whenever we needed. Breakfast was very good and varied, with eggs and hot drinks made to order plus buffet style. Negatives: Unfortunately there were some issues with cleanliness. Room smelled musty. Floor felt a bit sticky. Mattress covered in plastic wrapping, extremely uncomfortable to sleep on as the sheets slipped around. No toiletries in the...

"Really enjoyed my stay at Arushi. The hotel is in a nice area, on a side street, but is a short walk away from a lot of restaurants/shops. Very nice property. It can get a bit noisy with construction next door, but it was a pleasant stay. Negotiate the car price if booking through the hotel. Would stay here again. "

"Amazing hotel! It is updated, very beautiful, and the staff is extremely kind and accommodating. Rooms were great with beautiful views. Our room, 504, had a perfect view of Swambunath Stupa(Monkey Temple). Beds were very comfortable and the complimentry cookies and fruit left in the room was a nice touch. "Well located in the Kathmandu busy downtown district of Thamel, we enjoyed the staff superbe smiles and warm welcome. The hotel provides driver services for day long custom trips and airport transportation in recent car or minivan at a very reasonable cost. And the breakfast buffet as a good choice of food for everyone."

"Had a great stay in Kumari Boutique Hotel. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and took great care of us. The location of the hotel is also along a quiet street of Thamel that keeps us away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets, and yet remains within walking distance to your restaurants, outdoor gear shops and trekking agencies. One minor complaint I have is that the street is not very car friendly. Because it is at a dead-end, vehicles will find it challenging trying to get out (they have to reverse out). It does not look like that in Google Maps, but the street in front of Hotel Mulberry in fact belongs to Hotel Mulberry and has a gate that prevents cars from passing through directly (pedestrians can walk through without an issue). This might be a slight inconvenience when you are trying to get a taxi right at the door step of the hotel."
