"Total gem and worth going a bit off the beaten path. Wonderfully renovated and welcoming spaces. On a cool night there were small fires in the fireplaces in the lobby and in the restaurant. The dinner at the restaurant was the best of our trip, and the included breakfast in the morning was also fabulous. Walkable little town with several historical points of interest, a Friday morning farmers market, and lots of locals at Joyces pub and bakery. We wished we had booked for more than one night. "

I would highly recommend to communicate with the host ahead of time, because while the contact phone number is listed at multiple points on the property, it can be difficult for a traveler without phone service. I was traveling from another country and had data only, I was fortunate to have a local person lend me their phone so I could check in that first evening. That is my only advice for anyone wanting to stay...
"Crown Quarter was located conveniently close to many pubs, shopping and restaurants as well as to the main bus and train station which was terrific since we relied on public transportation for our entire trip. Slept very well, shower was super and excellent coffee in room each morning. There was some noise from pub downstairs on the Friday and Saturday but it didn't bother either of us at all. They did provide ear plugs but I didn't use them. Maybe I was just so tired from touring but I...

"We stayed with our lovely hosts Jo and Jim at their beautiful B&B. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Lovely Jo showed us to our room and it really did exceed expectations. Breakfast was delicious with perfectly cooked scrambled eggs and fresh coffee etc. Jo and Jim went over and beyond to make us feel at home. We will definitely be back. We can’t thank you enough

"This house is beautiful and immaculate and the owner had thought of everything for all ages from high chairs and travel cots to a shower seat in the walk-in shower. The location was ideal to so many places. The owner is lovely and was quick to resolve any issues. Unfortunately the house itself seems to be the only part of the property that has been renovated and what will be a lovely fairy garden, replete with waterfalls, was marred by construction rubbish.
