Lajitas Texas has long been known as "the ultimate hideout". This remote resort community offers first class comforts among the rugged mountains of Big Bend. Lajitas Casa Grande continues that tradition with a spacious four-bedroom home for your family or group.

Lajitas Casa Grande is ideally located for easy access to resort facilities in Lajitas (except the resort pool) and adventures throughout the Big Bend. Please note that at particularly busy times, the resort may limit access to the golf course, dining options, or other resort amenities. We recommend that guests check with Lajitas Resort to verify access to any resort amenities they may plan to utilize. Enjoy world-class golfing at Black Jack's Crossing. Pamper yourself at the Agave Spa. Saddle up at the Equestrian Center. Visit the famous Terlingua Ghost town. Ride the rapids along the Rio Grande. Or venture into Big Bend National Park or Big Bend Ranch State Park.

When you’re not busy enjoying the amenities of the resort or the adventures of the mountains and desert, you and your family or group will have plenty of space to relax and unwind at Casa Grande. The large living room, open dining room, and well stocked kitchen provide ample indoor space for hanging out in air-conditioned comfort. The front porch and rear decks are great for relaxing outside while enjoying mountain scenery, breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, or mesmerizing starry nights. The four bedrooms are comfortably furnished with high quality beds and linens for a great night’s sleep. Two full bathrooms add to the convenience. Various books and games are provided for everyone’s enjoyment.

We all need an occasional break from our everyday life. Lajitas Casa Grande will provide you with a once in a lifetime escape and adventure. Of course, it does not have to be JUST once in a lifetime. You are welcome to come back again and again. We hope and suspect that you will.

Terlingua

The property was clean, close to the road but felt isolated and by yourself. It was well stocked and the owners thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. Great stargazing and access to hiking (both National and State Park). Can’t wait to come again!

Fantastic home, will rent again

We had four adults and two kids (ages 12 & 9) and Lajitas Casa Grande couldn't have been more perfect for our needs. Everyone had their own space with room to spare if you took advantage of the upstairs common space. Neighborhood spread out enough for quiet and privacy. Only drawback is drive time to get to BBNP entrance near Study Butte, but we knew that going in and just planned a few extra minutes for starting our day at the park. Thanks for an excellent stay. We look forward to coming back and renting again!

Anniversary Get Away

House was great. Could use some updates. The upstairs bathroom was extremely small. We were very impressed that all the toiletries were available and extra if needed, the dryer vent had not been cleaned in some time and should be checked often. We visited Far Flung outdoor adventures; the guide was great. We did the 360-jeep tour, also went to Starlight for dinner, the cantina next door to starlight, Venga for brunch, free mimosas on Sundays! Hiked closed canyon, which was beautiful. Went ziplining in Lajitas, awesome guides as well. Overall great experience in Terlingua!

Gorgeous home with incredible views, perfect base for exploring Big Bend!

My family (husband, me, 6 & 8 yr old kids) stayed three nights at Casa Grande. We LOVED our stay and highly recommend this property! The home was clean, safe, had beautiful views, and was a great base for our trip to Big Bend. The home is roomy with 4 bedrooms and a play room upstairs with several games to play. There was no cable but there is Netflix which was awesome! There is also WIFI and our AT&T cell phones worked great. In the evening we sat out on the back deck or the front porch and sipped wine while we watched the sun set and the amazing starry sky. Absolutely beautiful! We traveled to Casa Grande from Fort Davis/Marfa and drove on scenic hwy 170, stopping to hike at Closed Canyon in the state park (just 30 minutes from the home). We brought a cooler from home and filled it with groceries we purchased in Fort Davis so we were able to cook several meals at Casa Grande which was so nice! The drive from Casa Grande to Terlingua is 10-15 min and exploring the ghost town cemetery and Starlight Theatre were so fun! It is just a 20-25 minute drive from Casa Grande to the Maverick Junction entrance to the park so it was a perfect base to explore the park and then come home in the late afternoon to relax. We very much enjoyed this lovely home, thank you for sharing it with us!

Great location and house for a family getaway

We loved staying in the house. We were traveling with another family and our kids loved running around and exploring the area. House has pretty much everything you need and there's a general store really close. State park is practically next door and worth exploring. Big Bend NP is not too far either. I highly recommend this property and communication with the owners was really good and helpful too. Thanks!

great hub for big bend area adventures.

Property managers Daryl and Janet were attentive, easy to contact, which is helpful when planning a trip a year in advance. The house was just right for our party of 8, 60 to 75 year old's. We saw all the scenery from Marfa to Marathon, down to La Linda, Boquillas, St Elena, and Persidio. A goodtime was had by all. Thanks to the owners and managers for renting the Casa Grande to us.

Great location for star gazing and local bike rides

Stayed at this house as it was in the middle of our planned bicycle rides. It’s close to Big Bend State and Federal parks. Star gazing is incredible as well.
