But what truly made our experience unforgettable was the staff: incredibly warm, helpful, and professional. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. "We went on a tour of Sicily in May 2025, and only spent one night at Dimora Cottanera - but it was our favourite stay of the vacation! The grounds and the views were stunning, the facilities first-class and our room was amazing. But the absolute highlight was the wine tasting, which was so much fun and incredible value. The food we had was delicious and complemented the wine superbly. And our host, Salvo, made the experience so special. We absolutely loved our limited time at Dimora Cottanera and would book again in a heartbeat!"

"The hotel is wonderful. Rooms (especially the ocean facing ones are beautiful with big balconies…note however you do lose sun in late afternoon) Breakfast very good, staff very attentive. A lovely pool area as well and proximity to beach is amazing just 20 steps. Parking is available and is good.(important for Sicily) The hotel could do with a paint job on outside but don’t let that put you off inside is great. The hotel would benefit from offering some kind of shuttle service to Taormina or even Lettojanni. As location is very isolated. 25-30 euros taxi ride to Taormina. Even lettojanni is a 30 min walk and bus connections to Taormina are sporadic and unreliable. Some kind of golf buggy service even at a charge for guests would be ideal. All in all superb place and would definitely stay again."

"Don't let the low price scare you away! This place is AMAZING! I booked the cheapest room and didn't expect much. It was large, clean and had a BALCONY with views of the ocean! Breakfast was included in the base price and it was a full breakfast with every breakfast food you can imagine! Bacon, eggs, potatoes, fresh squeezed OJ, pastries, breads, yogurt, coldcuts, etc. etc. etc! We added the dinner option and it was unbelievable also! Nightly, they had pasta station with like 5 kinds of pasta, salad bar, Antipasti bar, meat station (with 4 different meat choices), dessert station with at least 8 pastries nightly AND gelato. Soft drinks were also included. The facilities include 3 pools, hot tubs, restaurants, an elevator that takes you to street level so you can walk the 5 minutes to the beach, free beach chairs and an umbrella at the beach. Seriously, stay here! You won't be sorry! It is a BARGIN!"
