"As frequent travelers who have rented hundreds of properties, this was one of the most beautiful and well kept homes we have ever stayed in. The home is stunning, with very comfortable places to sit inside and gorgeous outdoor patios, including a hot tub with an amazing view of the coastline and the castle in nearby San Nicola L’Arena. The beds are very comfortable, and we were so grateful for the air conditioning on hot days. Paolo and his wife went above and beyond and helping us arrange transport, welcoming us with snacks and a bottle of wine, and responding to any questions immediately. The beach nearby can get very busy on the weekends, so be prepared for happy music on Saturday and Sunday, but this is a spot for locals, and it really feels like you are part of the local community when you stay here. We did not have a rental car, but it was a quick 15 minute walk into San Nicola to get groceries and supplies. "

"From the moment we arrived Alberto was fantastic and very helpful. Alberto, Carlos and Alberto’s mum provided a fantastic Sicilian feast on the first night and catered for one of the party who has a nut allergy. The villa is lovely and the pool, grounds were perfect. It is a little tricky getting to and from the villa with the car but quickly got used to it. This was the perfect relaxing part of our Sicilian holiday. Already planning a return. Grazie!!"

"Our week at Casa Pergola was nothing short of magical. My wife and I, along with another close couple, stayed seven days and were blown away by the beauty, comfort, and hospitality. Paul and David are exceptional hosts—warm, attentive, and never intrusive. Paul met us at the main road and guided us in personally (tip: rent an SUV or 4WD for the final stretch).The villa is a beautifully restored 15th-century olive mill, spotless and full of charm. The grounds are immaculate, the views over the Sicilian hills and Lake Rosamarina are stunning, and the heated pool—adjusted to our exact preference—was perfect for lounging and relaxing.A highlight was dinner by Chef Bruno, who prepared a gourmet Sicilian meal right at the villa. Absolutely unforgettable!Whether you’re exploring nearby Cefalù and Caccamo or just soaking in the tranquility of the property, Casa Pergola offers a five-star experience from start to finish. Paul and David accommodated every request, including a last-minute airport transfer, with ease and joy.We left relaxed, grateful, and already planning our return. Highly recommended!"

"We had a family vacation with 5 adults and 2 kids. This house was an excellent choice. Lots of space for everyone, comfortable beds, kids toys, well equipped kitchen and beautiful pool and outdoor space. Communication with host was excellent. It’s a tiny town but close (30min drive) to bigger places. A cute gelato place with in town. If you’re looking for some chill family time in a beautiful location this is your house. "

La struttura è immersa in un contesto paesaggistico mozzafiato, ideale per chi desidera rilassarsi e godere delle bellezze naturali della Sicilia.La villa offre ambienti accoglienti e ben curati, perfetti per famiglie come la nostra, composta da me, mio marito e la nostra bambina. Gli spazi esterni sono altrettanto incantevoli, con un giardino rigoglioso e aree dedicate al relax.Paolo e Flaminia si sono dimostrati padroni di casa eccezionali, sempre disponibili e attenti alle nostre esigenze, rendendo il nostro soggiorno ancora più piacevole. "We needed a place on short notice close to Trabia, and Paolo and his sister made sure everything worked out, despite some confusion on check-in as we worked through visiting Italy for the first time. Communication was excellent, there was always someone available to answer questions and we had plenty. Two of the most important things for us: the apartment was very child-friendly; our adventurous two-year old son really could find almost nothing to get into trouble with (after some very minor shifting of the furniture). Secondly, the dining area has a beautiful view of the sea, huge windows, bright and airy with the sound of breaking waves making any meal that much more relaxing, which we really needed this trip. The kitchen is a little cramped, very little counter space for cooking. But everything worked well, even through a gale. We didn't have a car, and access to Trabia and the train station with a stroller was not easy--the roads are not designed to accommodate that, clearly, with narrow tunnels and cracked sidewalks. But it was everything we needed and more, and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit the area. "
