"Overall the hotel is great, very special architecture and history. Staff were very helpful and made our stay enjoyable. Food and beverage was less impressive, very expensive and average. Cocktails were a mixed bag with some basic classics not well executed… and at this price point they should be excellent."

"The hotel was well located close to Vieux Lyon. The views of the river were great. The rooms were well maintained and clean. The lounge access with the available snacks and drinks were a huge plus. We had a corner room which was spacious and had great views but located on a high floor where the sun warmed the room. In the summer, the AC was no match to the summer heat (it was in the 90’s F). We moved to a smaller room on a lower floor that was more comfortable. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel."

"Overall the hotel was okay but dated. We did not get layout requested during booking. We chose 2 x queen/double beds but got 1 x queen and a set of bunk beds. Bunk beds weren't ideal for 20yr old and 17yr old but manageable."

"The staff at this hotel was particularly friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location was also great- just to the north of old Lyon, right along the river and an easy walk to most of the sites. The lobby and bar/restaurant area had a very fresh and recently renovated look and was a pleasure to walk through every day. The room itself was a bit dated but large and comfortable. Would definitely recommend."

"Our room was great, with a separate sitting/kitchen area so we could put our baby to sleep and still spend time talking. We had an air-conditioned room and could not imagine having a room without during the heatwave in Lyon. They had the air con running for us and the crib already set up before we got there which was amazing. My only complaint is the shower, no matter how I had the shower curtain positioned, water covered the floors of the bathroom."
