"We had to make a last minute change to this property from one we had in San Gimignano, and we are delighted that it worked out that way. The property is super relaxing and the staff made our stay memorable. The owner/on-site chef made a fabulous 3 course meal for dinner, plus dessert, and breakfast was simply perfect If you do not have a car and anticipate hiring a taxi, I advise that you set up the taxi in advance and the owners will be happy to provide a number for you. "This hotel is tired. It lacks management (not staff fault), zero information available about the town. Air conditioning did not work in first room or upgraded room. Breakfast served 7.30 to 10 am , at 8.20am the table was bare eg. No eggs, no yoghurt, no other cooked items and very poor selection of what was left."
