Our guests can enjoy the peace and quiet and the view of the mountains opposite Lake Maggiore on the terrace/balcony with dining table, chairs and loungers or in the garden. Or they can retire to one of the comfortable armchairs in the living room with one of the many books from the library.
For the children, there are games and painting utensils in the house as well as a changing mat, a baby high chair and a high chair for toddlers.
There is also a comprehensive TV programme and free Wi-Fi.
All windows and patio doors are fitted with fly screens/doors. The windows are heat-insulating and fitted with sun blinds or shutters.

Numerous kitchen utensils are available in the kitchen for cooking enthusiasts. These include a table, 2 chairs, fridge, microwave, hob, oven and dishwasher. Thanks to the insect screen door, you can enjoy the balmy evening air with the patio doors open and also take part in conversations on the patio while cooking.
Shopping facilities are in the immediate vicinity (5 min) or in large numbers in Losone (6 min)
Those who simply want to indulge in culinary delights will find a number of good restaurants and grottos in the village and the immediate vicinity, which can also be reached on foot.
If you want to go swimming in Tegna, you can reach the river or the wonderful "Pozzo di Tegna" lagoon in approx. 800 metres.
The large Lido of Locarno with its sandy beach, sunbeds, various pools and water slides as well as a fantastic spa is also a welcome change.
From Casa Elena you can easily set off on wonderful excursions, great hiking trails and a varied sports programme, such as golf, tennis, mini golf, horse riding, sailing, climbing, etc.
Or you can take a leisurely stroll through the famous Swiss holiday resorts of Ascona + Locarno with their numerous cultural events, beautiful shops, arcades, countless restaurants, including on the promenade with views over Lake Maggiore, bars, ice cream parlours and the casino.
Great events await you, such as the international film festival in Locarno or the Moon&Stars music festival, as well as the world-renowned JAZZ Festival in Ascona and much more.
