"Beautiful, modern, high style hotel in the best location for easy, uncrowded entry to the Pompeii archeological site. Gorgeous garden for drinks or meals. Delicious breakfast buffet. A 10 minute walk from the Pompeii city train station served frequently by Trenitalia from Naples."

"Wish I had spent the whole visit here! This was wonderful, especially for the price! We had saved a little money the night before and regretted it. It's always a huge toss up whether a rental will look anything like the usually-highly-edited photos, but this one did not disappoint. The staff walked us to the room and clearly explainedeverything in good english. The breakfast was INCREDIBLE for a free hotel breakfast (fried potatoes, eggs, bacon, juices, pie, croissants, cereal, yogurt etc.....). One thing to be aware of, is that the hotel is past the winery/bar, past the stable, to the left, and down a ways. Follow the signs for reception. It was tucked back in there and was wonderfully secluded feeling, though not totally clearly marked or found on google maps. Thanks guys! -Ethan & Isabelle"

"Overall good, clean. But not really a 4 star level. Good value for the money."

Hotel Santa Caterina
8/10 Good
"Really lovely hotel in a perfect location! Literally 3 mins stroll to the main square with plenty of really good restaurants to choose from and its a quick 3 min walk in the other direction to the Archaeological Park (amphitheatre entrance) as well. The hotel is also pretty much opposite the best gelateria/patisserie on the Via Roma (De Vivo Pasticceria). Our room was great - 2 single beds were arranged easily, the air con was fantastic and the bathroom was good. The shower pressure wasn't great (a bit dribbly) but that would be my only complaint. The breakfast choices are excellent; fresh fruit, pastries, pizza, eggs, cold meats & cheeses, yoghurts etc etc. And superb coffee as well - made to order. The lovely girls on Reception all spoke English so I was able to call the hotel in advance to arrange airport transfers (90EUR each way for a 2 person pick up). No email address which is a bit odd but it all worked out really well as I was given a mobile number to text for when we landed (early!). I would absolutely recommend it and would definitely stay again. I would also recommend booking a 7pm table on the Habita79 hotel roof terrace for sunset cocktails & a view of Vesuvius! Its literally round the corner from Hotel Santa Caterina and a great way to start an evening!"

Hotel Zeus Pompei

"The staff were all very friendly and helpful and showed us how to fix the lobby vending machines. The breakfast is across the street and they sell water and sofa too but their price is higher than the hotel vending machines. The room and hotel overall were very clean but our room could definitely use a refresher as the hair dryer was broken, the light in the bedroom was missing a cover and the bed was very hard. The hotel is just a 2 minute walk to the main entrance to the Pompeii archaeological site which was great Leaving the hotel we asked them to call us a taxi and they did and told us how much cash it would be."
