"Liked the area, it was close to everything. They posted that the street to the hotel was going to be closed Sunday morning at 8am until 6pm in the elevator in German only. Had to get to a cruise Sunday afternoon, thank goodness for Google Translate. No heads up when we checked in."

"I have stayed at the Am Kai 334 a few times due to work, biggest mistake I made was informing my work colleagues how convenient it was to stay there and be able to walk to our work vessel on new change day, as they started to also book rooms, leaving me to search other alternatives. The rooms are immaculately clean, and have the best showers I have ever used. The staff are very helpful and resolve any queries you may have on booking a taxi, shopping areas, local restaurants etc etc. The area is so quiet I have the best sleep ever."
