"We had a lovely stay at La Fonda! The location was perfect and we enjoyed everything there was to do and see in the Plaza area. We loved our room with a beautiful view of the church and a very comfortable bed. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. Our quick trip to Santa Fe was just what we had hoped. We definitely recommend La Fonda on the Plaza!"

"The bed we had in room 2128 was awful. Sitting on the edge of the bed i felt SPRING! Also the bed was uncomfortable. Could have used more pillows. I thought a balcony would be not on the first floor looking out. Would have liked something higher so no one is walking by."

"The room in this old motel has been nicely remodeled, but bathroom was subpar (majorly cracked tiles, really bad drywall patch jobs). Location is great by park, trails, good restaurants and not far of a walk to the plaza. The breakfast had a good selection, but egg and potatoes were on the cold side. The check-in person was very cold and short with me for some reason. Felt like he really didn't want to be doing this job and I was wasting his time. Maybe just a bad day. Also, didn't get the King bed that I reserved, but I didn't feel like moving at that point."

"Everything about our stay was fantastic. The man at check in was so pleasant. The room was beyond my expectations. Comfy bed, great shower, and super quiet. The horses in the pasture and grounds were very relaxing. The fireplace was wonderful on the chilly night "

"I’m only giving this a one star because of the hotel manager Naomi Wuorinen. I was charged 175 to my card. 100 dollars for incidentals another 50 dollars unknown for and 25 for amenities fee. I was supposed to receive my 150 back but was never reimbursed my money back to my card or recieved a phone call about it. Mind you I stayed on April 6th thru the 7th for my baby’s 7th birthday. I called on the 8th of April about the charges to my card and was told management will get back with me. April 15th Naomi sends me an email stating I owe them 103.00 dollars instead of them reimbursing me my money back to my account and that I can call and make a payment over the phone by giving them my credit card information. This seems to be a scam that they are running so please be aware before you use your credit card at this establishment. My family will not be back only for this weird situation and behavior "
