I only gave 4 stars for accuracy of online listing due to the maps location on the posting did not match where the location actually was and we got a lil lost but a quick call with the host and we found it. "I can't say enough about this place. Our stay was exceptional and revitalizing; If you're looking for quiet and solitude this is the place to go. You can hear bird chirping, no road noise, and the gardens are beautiful. The food was fantastic. I can't say enough about the staff. They are amazing and everything you wished a hotel staff would be. They catered to us like we were the only ones there. If you want a quiet place to go to after a day exploring the Borderlands in Scotland; this is the place. Even if you just want a place to relax and unwind for a few days this is a great place to go. "Hut was well stocked with all the stuff you need. Great hot water & pressure in shower. Clean, cozy & comfortable beds. Host was very friendly and helpful. Loved our wood fired hot tub. Just be careful with the water level once you start adding people!"

"There was no one at the desk. Self check in via the hotel email. Room was on 2nd floor up two flights of winding stairs not easy to maneuver with luggage. Limited food at the hotel. Did have free parking. Very old building not handicap accessible. Room was a good size and comfortable. Bathroom was very small couldn’t open the door all the way. Not recommended for older people or anyone who can’t do stairs."
