"Just back from a visit to Idar-Oberstein. Parking was easy, I arrived after 10pm so reception was closed but a staff member was able to quickly get me checked in. Room was perfect for my stay. Hotel is close to the Felsenkirche and castles. The Norma shop is 2 minutes walk away and there are several places to eat in the square."

"Location was great. Close to Ramstein Base. Rooms was nice and clean. Breakfast was good. But most days we got there close to the end of breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful too. I would stay here again if traveling in this area."

The place is beautiful, so peaceful, not so far from the lake and the shops are also in the nearby. Ursula and Gerd, the owners, are very kind and friendly. "I was extremely happy with my stay at Hotel Landgrafen-Mühle. My room was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and reasonably priced. The hotel is very well run, and the staff was super helpful and friendly (and English speaking). Picturesque property, best schnitzel I had in Germany, and wonderful quiet. I left feeling calmed and recharged. A true gem, and I couldn’t recommend it more."

"Great location, spacious room, comfortable beds, very nice restaurant on premises, and a wonderful breakfast buffet. Overall a very pleasant experience. Important - if you're driving, the am Frucktmarkt address will only get you close due to pedestrian only zones. There is a parking garage in back (with a different address) that has direct access to the hotel - call ahead and get that street address and save yourself a walk."
