"If I were to imagine an idyllic rural retreat, this would be it! The property is absolutely stunning, the garden is aspirational, and the chickens are a blast to watch. The accommodations are clean, comfortable, and quiet. The weather didn’t allow for a proper exploration of the property, so we missed out on the bees and the wildflowers, but the fresh eggs (in the most beautiful array of colours) and honey made up for it. We will definitely be back, next time spending more time there."

"The house is a perfect location for attending events at the Maple Valley Wedding Venue. The host is very responsive and the check-in process was flawless. Our family was comfortable during our stay. The kitchen is very well appointed, we thoroughly appreciated the coffee maker and supplies to get us going in the morning. If I could make a suggestion, having the ability to hang items in each of the bedrooms rather than just the primary bedroom would have made preparations for the wedding a little easier. We didn't want to add any weight to curtain rods in the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms. We enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this location for families looking to stay in this area."

"The place was wonderful! We enjoyed our 6 night stay, every room was very clean including the bathroom, and felt comfortable like being in our home. Had everything we needed, was quiet and peaceful and we slept well. Location is not far from Sandbanks Provincial Park with beautiful sandy beaches. We would recommend this property, plus the owners were very kind!"
