"Beautiful house. Stunning view from all the rooms. Very clean. Beds super comfortable. Couldn’t fault it. Plenty of utensils in the kitchen. Lounge couches lovely and comfortable and the room beautifully presented. Great tv. Just watch your head in the bathroom I managed over 3 days. Eclectic shape and just adds to the charm. Fantastic commication with the property manager. Nothing too much trouble. We were lucky with the weather too. Last night the crescent moon and stars were utterly amazing. All in all would absolutely recommend. Thank yoh. "

"This was our second time staying at Tir Deri (our last stay was back in 2014) and it didn’t disappoint! Great location, just a short walk into Porthgain and ideally suited to explore the coastal path and nearby beaches.Great quality accommodation, warm and cosy yet big enough for four adults, a child and dog to live in for a week without tripping over each other. Previous review talks about a fly infestation - we certainly didn’t experience this. Yes, there were a few flying insects outside in the evening but I’d expect this in the countryside this time of year.Overall a great base for an excellent half term stay!"

"We had a amazing week. Mr Rees and his family were amazing hosts. They could not do enough for us. our little girl loved collecting the eggs first thing in the morning and loved meg the farm dog.. The house was spacious and very clean and located in a perfect position with no passing traffic so very safe for our daughter. Close to the beach and surrounded by countryside .A brilliant stay and we look forward to returning again."

"Our third trip to this lovely little cottage - though the first for a while. Nicely fitted out and equipped, and well located for St David's and the coast. Garden worked well for our dog - good to be able to let her out without worrying about her escaping."

"Great lodge, very comfortable everything you would ever need in the lodge from washing and drying facilities, cooking and drinking - even some games to play - excellent place to stay of excellent standard - the night skies here are amazing too. Sloop pub and Porthgain only a short walk through a field would strongly recommend staying here for costal path walks."

"Fabulous long weekend, this is the pefect location with everything close at hand. Surprisingly easy to find, very well equipped cottage with its own charm. Very clean, whilst quite basic in some respects, every need is anticipated and a lovely homely feel. We slept so well here. Welsh cakes and fruitcake left as a much appreciated welcome. CK Foodstores is a large local shop 6 mins away for everything we needed to easily stock up as well as some farm shops locally we drove past for added local extras.There is no gate on the garden, our very energentic dog was well excersised during the visit and never ventured out, happily running around the garden or laying out on the grass relaxing. Nothing close to distract. We enjoyed the feeling of not being boxed in and that adds to the charm of the place.A very welcome haven after exploring all day. We loved sitting outside in the evening to look at the stars with such a real sense of seclusion. We could hear absolutely nothing. The farm is close be we were left alone and it felt very private, just beautiful countryside. We visited a few beaches with our dog's that you could only access on foot to be rewarded with being the only ones there on a sunny BH weekend. Im a little unfit, but the coastline walks and beaches were glorious! We did not explore the walks directly from the cottage and this is our only regret. We will definitely return and make use of our lovely hosts fabulous knowledge. Thankyou for a lovely stay Debra. "

"The location is the star with this cottage. Porthgain is an absolute gem of a place, and we enjoyed eating in both The Sloop pub next door, and The Shed, which had amazing fish and chips. There's also a lovely ice cream shop in the village. The cottage could have benefitted from more bedroom storage, as the 2nd bedroom had a very small wardrobe. The kitchen could do with an upgrade - there was no freezer, and we tried to make a meal, but the the kitchen hob didn't have enough power to boil the water for spaghetti. That was disappointing, but at least we could pop next door for a decent meal! There are also some restaurants in St. Davids, which is a lovely little place just 10 mins drive away. This was the nearest place with a small supermarket. Overall, we enjoyed staying in the cottage and can't fault its location."
